They do excellent work. They are the best in the country. 2 trees were dead and one didn't look as good as what it should. They replaced them at no charge. They have 9 professional landscape architects and they do excellent work. Their personnel are professional with a degree in landscape architecture and they do good work. My favorite thing about this company is their creativity, their quality and their followthrough.

They stand behind what they do. I had a few little things 4 years later and they came and took care of it, no charge. It's an hour and a half drive. They came down with a semi replaced 5 trees. I had some patio pavers that weren't quite right. They fixed all those. They are just the best of the best. They've been doing this a very long time. In this case you get what you pay for.  Even the owner of the company who is not normally involved, called to see if we were happy. I was very impressed with all that.

Their lawn maintenance "service" has been spraying my lawn this year.  I've had 3 visits from them.  The first visit, they killed a couple of patches of grass and killed the front of one of my large bushes.  I had to cut it back to get rid of all the dead branches.  The 2nd application cost me a whopping $186.00, And again they left a couple of dead patches.   But this last time, they sprayed a fungicide and pretty much killed my whole lawn.  It was one of the best lawns in the neighborhood and now it is by far the worst.  And it is DEAD, not dormant.  I have sent them a letter and will wait to see how they respond.

We have used them for four years. We have a contract with them. We're very happy with them. They have been excellent to work with. They come out and do the lawn. It looks green and nice. We have not had problems with bugs since they took over. I like the results. When they come they leave a note of what they did. Everything looks incredible.

Professional installation. I wish they would have called the night before to let us know they were coming, so I could have been home to make suggestions. They made the mulch bed too big, with not enough plants, and the sod area could have been smoothed. However, it was the plan that I approved, so they did exactly what was on the plan. It just didn't look that great when installed, which is more my fault than theirs. They were quality plants and quality work - the only problem I had was with the design, which I should have looked over more carefully. They did send someone out and offered to redesign it for a small fee, which was great.  This is a quality company that I highly recommend.

I had told them when I asked for the quote that I did not have much luck with plants, so anything that was planted, had to be  hardy.  They quoted a magnolia tree, hydrangea's, boxwoods, linope, drift roses, and sky pencil holly.  They also did low voltage lighting, with controls moved to our garage, steel edging, potting soil, and mulch.  They removed much of the clay that was not allowing things to grow.   The transformation was done quickly and efficiently.  The lighting was beautiful. However, very quickly, a rose bush, one Boxwood,  and one of the hydrangea died as well as one of the pencil holly.  There was a statement in the contract that plants were guaranteed for 2 years.  I also had questions on the plants and how to take care of them.  I did not get any response  to my calls from the landscape designer.  I finally was transferred to Amanda, an associate of Steven's . She did come out, and replaced those bushes that were not doing well.  This spring, the magnolia tree, and a different rose bush were not growing, and one of the pencil holly was dead.   I called Amanda and asked questions about the magnolia tree, why it was not losing it's leaves, as well as not growning new leaves.  Also, advised about the rose bush and holly pencil.  We could not be home when she came to look at the plants.  She did not e-mail us or call us about follow-up.  One morning, 3-4 weeks later, planters showed up and replaced both the holly bushes, with no intention of telling me they were outside. However,  I was home, and was able to  ask someone who was, I thought, a supervisor about the rose bush and magnolia tree.   I was told the rose bush was alive, and would grow. I acknowledge that It is at the side, so is not that noticeable.   The magnolia  tree would  grow new leaves, as well as flowers.  The gentleman told me they were irritable - like in finicky. Prior to this, I was told by another employee that pencil holly just dies for no apparent reason, and they would not use it.  I feel that Rosehill Gardners, in this instance, did not listen to my concerns about needing plants that were hardy, and never gave me any information on how to care for the plants they did use, even after repeated requests. They also did not contact me about when they were coming to plant or re-plant items.  I was told about their maintenance contracts.  However, I felt it was very expensive for what was offered.  I declined the contract.

The wall looks nice with natural stone material used.  It took three times for Rosehill to come out to finish the job to my satisfaction and to fulfill the terms of the written contract.  But they would respond to emails and calls quickly and schedule someone to come out to fix the issue.  In the end, it took a few weeks to complete, but the wall looks very nice.  I kept final payment until all work was complete and they were OK with that.  I would recommend you take the quote sheet and ask for the back copy that has all the terms and conditions.  Read it carefully.  Also, what I did is attach my own terms and conditions for them to sign and they were OK doing that (not all companies will do that).  I also negotiated for a 5-year warranty, not the standard 1-year, and they did that also.  They also negotiated on final price.  Overall, it all worked out well in the end and the wall looks nice.

Gary Lueckenotto is a fabulous landscape designer. He oversees the actual work and guarantees the results. If any plants do not thrive he has replaces them. He considers all aspects of the design including irrigation and drainage. Quality of plants, trees and shrubs is excellent. My only suggestion for improvement is to keep the customer informed if the schedule date is delayed because of weather or demand.

They were just very helpful.  They had an idea of what I needed what kind of plants I needed to buy for this area.  They were pretty knowledgeable and personable.  They have a very nice selection and I don’t have any complaints with whatever I purchased from there.  They have some plants that you cannot find around here.  So it was a little more expensive too.  If you want the plants like I did you need to pay the price even more expensive than for helping.  So I would say that the price is a little on the pricey side but it was worth it.

Our landscape architect was Amanda. I would not have completed the project without her. She worked with us on the design, both what we wanted & scaling back to what we could afford. She created & gave me the actual blueprint designs, too...didn't wing it onsite with a 5 minute input into a computer program like so many of them do. When it came to the landscape install, she was there, on site. She also met with us and both the patio & deck contractors as we made decisions with them. As with all projects, there were frustrations. But, with Amanda as our contact, we worked through all of them. Again, if I would have had to deal with all the different departments at Rosehill, plus two other companies, on my own...I probably would have just given up along the way. And as the project completes,  I'm so glad we stuck with it.

We had a great experience during the planning phase. John had great ideas, listened well, and produced a reasonably priced plan. The quality of their product is excellent. We only lost two trees over the scorching hot summer. I do wish they had communicated when they were coming to complete the work each time. I know it is difficult to plan, but there were last minute decisions to be made, or layouts to be approved before the plantings went in the ground and I never knew when they would arrive. Also, we had some minor changes from the original estimates that were not corrected on the final invoice and I had to call accounting. Overall, a great experience. Just wish the communication was better.

The last job went very well. I am very pleased with them. They are good, very professional, courteous and friendly. They will answer questions if you have any. It’s the whole nine yards and I have had a very good experience with them. I need someone that helps keep the place green. So, I would definitely use their services in the future too.

They did a good job. I’ve had delays in getting some of the plants that didn’t take replaced. The individual who was my contact person left the company and no one told me about that which was a little frustrating. Overall, it was still a good experience.
