This is my 3rd time using Chris' services. He is always pleasant, responsive, thorough, and reasonable in his pricing for the work.
We had some high winds/tornado that had shingles off of my roof laying all around in my front and back yard. After a few days of rain I saw leaking in my garage and signs of leaking in the bedroom that's connected to the garage and in the same area where the leaking was in the garage. I called Chris because he had done some work for me before and I was very please with him and the outcome of that job. He came out the same day I called him and did a walk around the house. He took pictures of the roof and showed me what damage I had and how much it was going to cost me. Chris and his son Mike arrived a little before 9:00AM this morning, 12/7/15. They were done by early afternoon about 2:00PM. They did some extra things for me too. I really appreciated that. I had a hole in my roof that some critters had eaten in it and I wasn't even aware of that and my garage door was cracking in one of the corners. He repaired all of that for me. My roof looks brand new. They also cleaned my gutter and downspouts and installed gutter guards. I have some siding and paint work that needs to be done and Chris and Mike are definitely going to be the ones to handle that for me. These guys are great. They are reasonable and very dependable. Excellent customer service. I would recommend them to anyone anytime. Thank you Chris and Mike.
Chris located and repaired the sources of wet grout on an exterior bathroom wall in our 1927 Brookside home in 2014, so when we had a similar problem in a different place after a period of very heavy rains, I called him again. I knew if anyone could find and fix the problem, it would be him. Chris came out, looked at the wall where the moisture had appeared, and immediately figured out that an area above the moisture needed to be recaulked. He also cleaned out a gutter that he thought might have exacerbated the problem. Because he was able to pinpoint the source of the problem so quickly, the repair took Chris about 10 minutes.
Though this call was in no way related to the previous repairs Chris did on our home, he refused to take any payment for his work. He is a consummate professional and an expert in locating the source of wood rot and moisture problems - and in fixing them. I would never call anyone else in the K.C. metro area for this type of work!

With the more troubling leak between the bricks, he recommended and installed a diverter so that the water would be moved away from that specific corner of the house. We offered to pay him, but he would not accept payment. We can only assume that he didn't feel comfortable taking our money for such minor repair work. He also gave us recommendations for repair work to be done on the door jambs themselves. We enjoyed our experience with him and highly recommend him. We will definitely use him again. It is hard to find honest contractors
