Mark and his crew were knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Mark helped to quickly troubleshoot our challenging site conditions, and came up with an elegant solution for our fence. He listened to our ideas and incorporated them into the final design.

I love my new fence (and so do my neighbors). My old fence was coming apart after 24 years and was an eye sore. They removed the old fence and put the new posts in on 4/14. Due to a supply issue with the pickets, the fence was completed on 4/22. The delay was not a problem for me or my neighbors and Mark kept me informed. The fence is a 4 ft. tall cedar French Gothic picket fence, about 335 ft. with a walk gate and a double gate.

These guys are good. They did everything quickly and efficiently, exactly as asked, and at a fair price. It is hard to find contractors who can do that. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone needing fence work.

Rhodes did an excellent job installing my wrought iron fence. The thing that stood out most about Rhodes was the professionalism across the board. Mark - the owner - came out and provided an estimate within days of initially contacting him. During the visit, he took the time to explain their process and what to expect if we chose to move forward. Everything was based on ‘simplicity’. Rhodes offered the best price...and the quality was top notch. We are very happy with the work that Mark and his team did for us. Highly recommended! A++

I'm a bit late in writing this, but within the last year, Rhodes put up a fence around our backyard. Their price was $2,000 cheaper than another quote we had and the other one promised to "do all the right things that some other companies won't do". Rhodes did exactly the same thing the higher quote had promised...it was just included in the Rhodes quote. They were professional, personable, and without a doubt I believe the BEST fence contractor in Kansas City. The neighbors still comment on how great our fence looks and to this day, the cedar still smells good. Two gates and no sagging. They did exactly what they promised to do and even offered some great suggestions for transitioning from our 3 sided privacy fence to 1 side picket. It looks fantastic! I originally found them on Angie's List. You won't be sorry in hiring them.

Perfect! Rhodes installed a gorgeous wooden fence and two gates to complete the enclosure of our backyard, and it is truly a thing of beauty. We moved to Independence from a subdivision where only wooden fences were allowed, and our Rhodes fence beats anything I ever saw there. My wife and I (and our new little puppy) could not be happier or more thoroughly satisfied.

They were very responsive, efficient and did a quality job. I had to call them back a few months later because one gate was sagging a bit, and came right out and quickly resolved the problem and it has not repeated itself. Really nice to have quality work done.

I thought the crew did an outstanding job installing my privacy fence. I had an old cedar fence that was over 20 years old and falling down. The new fence looks amazing and the price was comparable to all of the other quotes that I had received. I got a double-gate and 2 single-gates and they also work great. I would definitely use them again but I don't think I'll have to.

The quote came in right in the middle of our other quotes. It has been a very very wet spring so they were running behind, which was very understandable. They were all very polite and respectful and they cleaned up after themselves when they left. All in all a very good experience.

HIGHLY recommend Rhodes Fence. I check out contractors I want to use extensively. I'm a researcher by nature. And I spent quite a bit of time looking at fencing contractors. One of my friends had a bid from Mark Rhodes and says they wished they had gone with him -- they didn't feel who they chose was as good as Mark's company. After their recommendation and checking Rhodes out on Angie's List, I feel like I made the right choice.
Mark is very personable, professional, and does what he promises. His bid wasn't the lowest, but I've found you get what you pay for. He kept me informed about what to expect, and his crew did the job right and on time. I'm impressed that he doesn't sub out his work -- the same four guys do all the installation. He's so popular that he'll sometimes put on his voicemail when he gets too booked up to provide prompt service and tell you he isn't accepting new customers for awhile. If you want a company that is nice to deal with, and does the job right, plan ahead and get him booked when he is accepting new business. There is a reason he has so many positive reviews -- wish all contractors were this professional.

Mark was excellent to work with! Got estimates from three companies and Rhodes Fence came in right in the middle on price. I chose Rhodes because of the excellent customer service. When Mark came out for the estimate he really took the time to answer questions and explain the process. His crew showed up on time and worked very efficiently. As another plus they were able to get the fence up before my daughter's birthday so her trampoline could be set up! Thanks Rhodes Fence for the excellent quality work! I would definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a fence!
