Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
I hired Larry Zachary for a bathroom remodel which included: expanding the bathroom into a closet, new floor & wall tile, new tub, new sink/vanity, new shower doors, and new tub fixtures. He did work on all of the above but he either didn't finish it or there were problems with ALL of it. Here's a list: 1) expanded bathroom into the 2/3's of the bedroom closet - sloppy sheet rock mud and sanding, a hole in the back of the closet where there was supposed to be an access door, door frame too large of cutout for hinges, and no clothes rack or shelf put back in the remaining closet space. 2) installed floor tile has grout all over the tile and uneven grout lines. 3) wall tile some are chipped or cracked, the grout is missing in some tiles, rough in others and is sloppy; 4) he installed a new tub but he chipped it in two places and tried to hide it by putting some paint over it, the sealant around the tub is spotty, bumpy and missing is spots, doesn't hold water 5) put the shower door frame in crooked and scratched it up; 6) the tubs water handle has cold water in one direction and warm water in the other direction instead of going from cold to hot in one direction, the faucet plate is not secured to the tile and the tile is cut so there?s a gap. 7) sheet rock lines on the ceiling; 8) the medicine cabinet is not centered over the vanity 9) put a cream colored outlet in a white and grey bathroom 10) baseboards are not capped off, the wall tile doesn?t meet the baseboard, nail holes are not filled in, they?re not sanded or painted 11) broke my lawnmower hood (he duct taped it), chipped my sidewalk, broke my screen door (he filled and sanded the wood but it?s cracked again), used and didn?t clean my shop vac leaving it caked in sheet rock dust 12) attic access is through another closet, he stepped on my clothes instead of using a ladder 13) 3 or 4 cigarette butts were in my dryer but? he didn?t use it, he just looked in 14) he doesn't use a drop cloth/barrier to minimize dust
