All of the workers were nice, and Rogelio was great giving us ideas and suggestions!
The price may seem high, but they replaced all of the wood rot on one entire side of our home. The cost for just the painting was right in line with all of the other estimates that we had gotten.
We will definitely use their services again for other projects!
Stay 100ft or more away from ROGELIO CRUZ and his company. I did a pre-work walk through with this guy and explained to him that I was selling my house and needed it to look great. I wanted wood rot replaced or fixed depending on the severity. He agreed and spoke a great game, and even got me the proposal quickly. The work started right away and seemed to be going well, with the exception of knocking out a basement window with their power washer… I fixed it by the way.. not his company. Two days after they finished paint was peeling and water started getting into my house. I emailed him, had my wife call him telling him that there was an issue. I had never had water in my house before the work was completed. (5/3 - 5/70) A week later and being rescheduled for a second time, he finally sent someone out to my house.
Mind you the first time he was there to talk about the issues and go through the list I wrote of the work that was poorly done I asked him to call me before he showed up, so I could make sure I was there. He failed to follow this simple instruction. Nonetheless, my laborers I had working on the interior had the list with them and tried to get Rogelio to listen to them, but he ignored them and kept saying, “You should have seen this place before. It looks way better now”…. I mean really!!! How frickin’ professional can you be? I had my wife call him (I was livid) after I was made aware that he had come and left without notifying me. Rogelio, said he had spoken to the drunk worker (again? Who does this guy think he is? No one was drunk or drinking) and he didn’t need to waste his time talking to my wife either, as I was the person he had done the work for.
After more emails from me, he agreed to send someone out. This person climbed up on the roof and said they were not responsible for the issue and asked me to get up on the roof to show me what the issue was. Upon climbing up, I see a 4 in round hole in the siding next to the roof that you cannot see from the ground. He says, "See, this wasn't us." I mean WTH, so your people saw this hole and didn't say a dang thing! This guy says, "We didn't see it!" REALLY!!!!! Then why the heck is there paint all over it.. Did your team paint my house without looking at it? He thought the great solution would be to put flashing over the hole to keep water out while Rogelio and I came to an understanding. Great.. I can deal with a Band-Aid that will keep water out for the short-term.
So here I am almost a month later, with flashing covering the hole and a soffit repaired with CAULKING, because Rogelio Cruz "RC Painting LLC" is too busy to fix their oversight. Even though Rogelio, (5/18) a week and a half ago, said he would right up a proposal to fix the soffit and siding hole. Can you guess what has happened.. Absolutely nothing. No proposal.. No phone call.. Nothing. His company does work for GCs in the area.. Make sure to ask who is doing the painting and stay away from RC Painting LLC if you know what is good for you.
I do not usually review places, services, or products, but NO ONE should have to deal with this kind of trouble. I have to find someone else to come and fix something that his proposal had in it, but for a word, he is sticking to his guns. Since the proposal said replace front side fascia and the area is not on the front face of the house, although still at the front of the house and being in the siding he does not feel obligated. Even though he charged me to paint a door in the proposal… No door has been painted to date. Sadly, there are more issues, but this is the quick version.
