Premier Roofing Company

I had Premier come out to replace my composite over shake roof and my gazebo roof. I had insurance to cover the cost. The good: Great quality No complaints for my house. No problems with insurance, Premier took care of it $250 referral reward thanks to Patrick The bad: Had to deal with not know when people came When the came they would leave without me inspecting to work They treated Patrick like a mule. No medical leave. Process started in June and lasted to October Offer $200 of a $15,000 bill (1.33% discount) Premier Problems Before anything happened I had to ask them to erase the chalk they had used to mark damage. First time the roofers came they didn’t know that my roof was composite. They had to return the next day. They left lots of wood in my attic. I had to demand someone to clean it up. They did assign a guy who did a good job. They replaced the gutter covers, but didn’t replace them all (said they were broken with no evidence). Strips did not completely cover the gazebo. One corner was not glued properly. The top of the gazebo lacked the metal around it They came and added the metal top without contacting me They came once to fix the strips and didn’t have any strips. They came a second time with new strips, but left one length of original strip They came by a third time and replaced the last strip and added more tar to the top. Even though the metal casing is not uniform around the top, the tar made it less obvious. There was one tile I had complained about, and finally Patrick climbed the ladder and finished it off. Also discovered late was the brick had been damaged while they did the roof (I think). There are still indentations on the brick and pavement. There is still chalk on my 2nd floor windows, but someone is coming out.

Premier was great to work with! They helped through the insurance process, pick out colors and they arrived on the day they were scheduled. They ripped off the old roof and replaced everything all in one day and left my property looking the same as when they arrived. Would definitely recommend! Very well, done in a day. Had a little damage to new siding, and Premier took care of it. Our Representative Kelly Stocker was awesome, very professional, very knowledgeable about the roofing product and working with the insurance company. We have recommended them to several people if they need roofing to call Kelly and gave her number to them.

They were very fast and efficient and went by the laws for the community we live in. They answered all of my questions. Very pleased with the job they did! Job #KCI605677 Representative Marilee Campbell Marilee was great, she explained everything and answered all of my questions.

The work done on the roof shingles was not too bad, but there was no follow-up on a couple of details that were missed. Hence I will not use them again nor recommend this company. After waiting more then 2 months for the work to begin, they came out to the house with less then 24 hours notice. No one on the crew spoke english - as a primary language. One of the workers children was there, and the only one that really talked to me. There was no job representative or site supervisor that I was aware of. There was one rotten decking board that was replaced at no extra cost. There was no extra cost because the price was agreed upon and locked in upfront. Premier takes on the risk of being reimbursed by handling all of the negotiations and submitting all of the paperwork on the work actually done to the insurance company. Final settlement of the work was delayed for another 2 months as they kept trying to negotiate to be reimbursed for some extra monies. About 6-7 weeks after the roof work was done, a mouse showed up in the attic. Upon looking around in the attic, 2 holes were visible (letting in light from outside) on each side of the chimney. One hole was about 3 inches long and included exposed decking wood. I contact the Field Rep at least 4 times, and contacted the office once. The rep returned my calls twice, saying I would be contacted to get the problem fixed. I was never contacted.

Great communication with our rep. Kept us informed of work schedule and impact of weather delay. Installers worked hard and did a good job cleaning up afterwards.

The project went well. My storm damaged roof was replaced by a reputable company with ties to the area.

They were absolutely wonderful! they are very professional and responsive. We were lucky to get a great crew. All of the debris was picked up and the new roof looks wonderful. We were very happy with Premier Roofing Co.

When we had some concerns about our gutter system, they came back and fixed the problem.
When we had a concern about our bill, Glen Stockdall came out to our house and explained the price difference.
    He was very courteous and professional.
They did a good job with the clean-up and made sure everything was hauled away.
They put back the things on our deck and took care to make sure everything was safe.
Premier staff and their on-site workers were great about answering our questions and being professional.

Did not communicate within company. We requested to be home for the work, notified the office and the rep on the weekend we would be unavailable and they came to do the work on that day. They had our land line number and called several times to ask where some supplies were (secure in the garage), but of course we didn't get those calls until returning home. They did NOT leave a message about some damage that occurred while they were here. (Minor damage, but an acknowledgement would have been appropriate.)

Went near perfection - done in a timely matter and property cleaned up to my liking.

Roof was damaged by hail.  Premier Roofing was hired to replace it, and bring it up to code, code had changed since original roof was installed.  Premier roofing helped in working with the insurance company, and did a professional job replacing a complicated roof, with many valleys, steep areas, and bump outs.  Job was done quickly, and with good clean up each day and at end of job.

They were VERY patient with us and the insurance company.  We were not hounded for money just because the insurance company was dragging its feet which was very nice, they understood how the system worked and how long it might take to get money.  The roof looks very good and we are pleased with it, the crew did a nice job of cleaning up afterwards as well, we did find a few nails after the first rain but that was to be expected but they did say they would come back out with their magnet if we wanted.

Very professional. Explained what they were looking for as far as damage was concerned. Showed me the damage and explained my options. Met with the insurance adjuster and started my claim. But these are not the reasons for my glowing review. After the shingles had been delivered to my roof for installation, a different roofing crew mistakenly removed a large portion of my roof, but then left when they discovered their mistake. When I returned home from work there was water pouring into my house from the rain storm going on. One phone call to Premier Roofing and they explained what probably happened and sent out two guys to tarp up my roof in the pouring rain, even though it was not their mistake. I always try to hire a local established company and I would gladly use this group again and strongly recommend them for your roofing needs. Michael and Frankie especially.
