PORTWOOD'S MOBILE WELDING

I called them at nearly 5:00 p.m. and they still made an appointment with me for first thing the next morning. Once I got to the shop, they were very polite and patient with me taking a few minutes to transfer out of my wheelchair. They made the repair in minutes and my chair is as good as new! They were absolute life-savers and I am so thankful for their help!

Called to make sure someone would be at the welding shop before making the long trip, was informed someone would be there. When I arrived the welder came out to meet me at my truck. He looked at the needed the repair on the aluminum marine exhaust manifold and said and quot;let's see what we can do.and quot; He took the part made the quality repairs in about 5 minutes. I asked him how much I owed him and he said $5.00. I wish all my business affairs were this easy. Replacing the manifold would have cost me about $700.

I pulled in and was helped immediately.
In and out in 20 mins.

My husband was home within 45 minutes with the lamp repaired. What a relief to me, I didn't want a new lamp, I wanted my lamp fixed and Portwood did a great job quick. That is service like it use to be! I'm glad they were on Angie's List, I didn't even know if the lamp could be fixed. Now for the shade repair....

I've never used them for any other very small welding shops that I can carry to a location.  I have taken several small jobs to their location for welding over the years and they have never ever charged me more than $5 for the job.
