I called Jim about my CPU processor running constantly for several days. After running some cleanup programs and checking other items, he found that a large number of Windows 10 updates had been installed. He recommended that I install the Fall Creators Windows Update that replaces previous versions of Windows 10. After completing this full update, my CPU processor is running far less and is essentially back to normal.

Jim was very responsive to my call and explained the best solution to my problem. In less than two hours, he removed my defective Windows 7 O/S, wiped my hard drive clean and did a clean install of Windows 10. He also saved and reinstalled by prior files. I've had no problems with the Windows 10 installed more than a week ago.

Jim is awesome and helpful to work with. I talked with him several times before he did any work for me. He was extremely helpful in letting me know what my options were for my broken laptop and offered useful solutions when I was looking to buy a replacement. For example, he reassured me that I did not need an expensive, top-of-the-line laptop. He met with me on a Saturday morning so I could give him both laptops, and by that evening, I picked them up. He had recovered and transferred my data from broken machine. He also set up my new laptop, removing some of the startup programs that slow down operation and installing free security software and explaining how to use it. He does not talk over your head. He's genuinely helpful. I will definitely call on him in the future whenever I have computer issues.

Excellent! Sometimes technicians don't take the time to explain what's going on. Jim was very patient. I would highly recommend his company.

Everything including things I didn't even know were tended to. PC computer was cleaned and appropriate software was loaded. Also I was tutored as to how to keep my computer clean and virus free. I couldn't access certain games on my Ipad and the Apple store instructed me to hook my Ipad to my PC. I had no clue how to do it so Jim backed up and updated my Ipad to the current version and restored all my Apps and pictures. If you have the Apple store provide this service for you, you will loose all your Apps,
games, whatever you have stored. Apple suggested I have a knowledgeable computer person do the work by way of my home PC. Jim did a first class job. I highly recommend him.

I called and spoke to Jim, he met me at the office. By close of business he and his assistant, Chad, had me back up and running. He also added a better virus protection system. Beyond "geek"...he's my guru! Professional, calm, knowledgeable and prompt. Didn't talk down to me, either

24 Hours after the service, computer is working very well.

I had noticed the "hard drive at risk of imminent failure" message when I turned on my computer a week or so ago, but resorted to wishful thinking and denial. Maybe it was because it was Friday the 13th today, but I really wanted to get it fixed. Jim was recommended on an About.com posting, and he's near my house, so I got in touch. I figured we'd make an appointment for next week, but he jumped in and got the job done in just a few hours. I really appreciated that he came to my house and did all the work to unhook and re-install the PC tower. I know he saved me hours that I really did not have to spend on this, and he did a wonderful job.

Jim was my initial contact when I placed the call. He was very calm and professional on the phone. He then dispatched Eric to my home and he was great! He arrived promptly and went straight to work. He let me know what was going on and what it would take to repair my system. He worked efficiently, quickly and with a good sense of humor. As a single woman, I was extremely comfortable the entire time and knew that I was being treated fairly. I will definitely give them a call the next time I have a computer issue and you should too!

Jim was so great.He came to my home and quickly fixed everything. I have a small business from home, and was freiking out. I couldn't see my emails, my sales, or respond to my customers. After wasting my time, stress and money on two different "geek" duds, somebody at my favorite deli told me about Jim with PC Solutions. I called him, and he came right out to my house. He got the router working, cleaned up the whole computer, fixed all the settings, it was a total mess. I don't even know what all he did, but it sure worked ! Now this baby is a mean-clean-fighting machine! Jim is a really sweet guy. He knows his stuff. He does what's needed, and doesn't do what's not. He's honest and fair. I can't say enough about him and his service. You should give him a call, he comes out to your home, or you can drop off your computer at his office , whichever you prefer. He also put on a cleaner that I click on and run every so often that cleans junk off that accumulates on my computer. It only takes a minute to clean it all up and keeps it running fast. One day my power went off, and I called Jim after it came back on, and he told me over the phone what to do and I was up and running right away. I'm glad he is so easy to contact, and returns your calls right away. It makes me feel safe that I have a
'life-line' if I need it. and I need it !. I used to say that we should all be so lucky to have a doctor, lawyer and plumber in the family....now-a-days, I have added a computer specialist to that list. ...Jill Willier

Good service is hard to find and when my aging desktop crashed and burned I needed someone to diagnose the problem and, most importantly, save my documents and photos which I had failed to backup to an external hard drive. I wasn't impressed with the reviews of computer repair businesses I saw on Angie's List in my area and so I went online and found PC Solutions which has been in business since 1999. It's basically in the West Plaza in a simple and spotlessly clean converted small house. Jim Keeley is the owner and he doesn't sell computers or try to push anything on you; he just fixes computers. He was helpful on the phone when I called and again when I brought the computer in for him to look at. He is straightforward and speaks plainly when explaining things ( and not in computereze). His prices are extremely reasonable and are posted on the website. He didn't try to push or promote any service or fix .I ended up not fixing the computer which was 6 years old, and just settled for retrieving and saving all of my documents and photos on a thumb drive. I highly recommend this business.
