DO NOT HIRE CORTEZ JACKSON OR NVCO. TAKE THIS AS A FRIENDLY WARNING THEY DO SUBPAR WORK AND DO NOT STAND BEHIND ANY WARRANTY. PICK ANYONE ELSE TO DO CONCRETE WORK THERE ARE LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF OTHER COMPETENT CONTRACTORS IN KANSAS CITY.

I am beyond satisfied with the level of communication, attention, professionalism and respect shown by Cortez and his crew to me and my neighbors. Throughout the course of the project Cortez communicated with me and provided updates as needed. The finished project exceeded my expectations. I look forward to utilizing the services of NVCO for projects.

Work was done in a rush, concrete mix was wrong ( too wet), fiberglass reinforcement was not added as per contract. Brushed finish was a mess. Cortez does not return return calls. Warranty papers were not given per contract. After work was paid for, he will not respond to calls or emails. City permits were out posted, (if any were obtain) DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! WORK WAS NOT DONE AS REQESTED! POOR WORKMANSHIP!

He was understanding and knowledgable. Took the lead in getting the permits and calling the city. We would hire him again.

The contractor poor the pad in a setback zone, when confronted with this info Cortes stated that it was not his problem and will no do anything to fix it unless I pay him again.

We are pleased with NVCO Construction. They worked us in and completed the job very quickly. The quality is great.

Cortez was great to work with. Communicated well, was very upfront about what his team could do and when they would be available, and gave a fair quote for the work I needed done. When his team showed up to actually pour the concrete they discovered they needed to redesign how they did the sidewalk so that it was level. They reached out to me to ensure I was okay with the redesign, stated that they'd need to add an additional step to the stairs and it wouldn't cost me anything extra to make it right. I appreciated their transparency and their willingness to do the extra work to make the end product look good and function correctly. I would highly recommend using Cortez and NVCO Construction in the future.

Cortez was awesome to work with. His quotes were competitive and clear. He has a great low key personality that is comfortable to work with. His team were all friendly hard working guys. Cortez was on job frequently making sure work was done right. Highly recommend
