NTB - National Tire & Battery

I went into NTB for a state inspection. The service was terrible and left me feeling like they didn't know what they were doing. They told me that they thought that my back brakes were bad, but they weren't for sure. They weren't willing to take them apart to find out specifically what was wrong. Isn't that they're job?! I went to another shop and found out that one of my back brakes was seized and not working at all! NTB sent me back out on the road and didn't tell me that! I also had my baby with me! The manager also spoke to me in a demeaning and disrespectful manner. Do not do business with them if you value your safety!

Went fine. No issues. I supplied the parts and they did the work.

I bought a vehicle with large chrome factory wheels. They looked nice, but within a couple of years, they started leaking air like crazy in the winter. Several other car places, including the dealership, looked at my wheels, but could not come up with an explanation. One Sunday afternoon, I walked out to my car to find one of the tires flat. I called NTB not long before closing time, and they told me to air it up and come on over. The mechanic took a look, and quickly suggested that sometimes those nice-looking chrome wheels can corrode from the salt and grime that gets in there in the winter. The corrosion was pushing the tires just far enough off of the wheel, that the air was leaking out. They pulled my wheels off, shaved the corroded edges off of them, put them back on, and I was on my way. No problems since. The price was more than fair, they fixed my problem with ease when others were stumped, and they did not try to sell me anything extra. I was ecstatic just to find a solution.

It went really. They do a wonderful job. They keep me posted on everything that needs to be done. The staff are extremely friendly.

Due to a flat, I had to replace a tire. I took my car to NTB, and they pointed out that I had to replace two tires because I have an all wheel drive car. They did a good job of referring me to the car manufacturer to verify their information and provided me two replacement tires at a reasonable price.

It only took two hours. Have to wait for the blinkers to come from Topeka, so they gave me $50.00 off of
my bill.
They have given me discounts because I choose to do business with their place instead of other
NTB that are closer to where I live.
I appreciated the good job they do for me.
