Roof work appeared satisfactory when completed (09-14-08). Subsequently (several weeks after completion) we found porch screen damage, gutter damage, and, at a later date, loose shingles. It took numerous calls to get MTZ to respond and more calls and waiting to get a worker to show up. The loose shingles were fixed, the gutters partially repaired, and the screen damage not repaired as yet. The company contended the screen damage was caused by falling tree branches but I contend that is not possible as no major branches are even close to the screened porch, the damage occurring as a result of shingles being thrown off the roof instead. The gutter and screen repair were supposed to be completed as soon as MTZ could get some different ladders. They still have not returned or answered any of our phone calls made over the last several months. In early December 08 we had a strong wind event that revealed a shingle that was loose and flapped in the wind. We have called MTZ 4 times and have received no response as of 01/08/09. Our contract states that we have a 5 year warranty on materials and labor.
