I can't recommend Richard and his team enough! They came out to help move the washing machine line to the main line, and replace cast iron pipes to PVC. Richard had great communication, he walked me through his plan to get the job done and was timely with his work. I had a great experience with him and his crew!

If I could give them 100 stars, I would. I had received two previous estimates for a sewer repair. One was 40K and one was 27K. I called Richard and he promised he could do it for less. He fought the city to pay for part of it. He exposed the line, called them out for the 3rd time and convinced them to take responsibility for the section on the street. I ended up being responsible for less than 7K. He went above and beyond to save me money. I will be eternally grateful! Highly, highly recommended!!

They were very curteous and professional. I asked many questions before and during their work. They were always receptive and answered my questions completely.

after he was wrapped up:
we had no water flow to master bathtub faucet
second floor bathroom fixtures/faucets had been installed with hot and cold reversed. normally this would not be a big deal but in our case our kids would turn their dial bathtub fixture to cold first, however, scalding hot water would return, the progression should have cold water return first on the dial. this is very dangerous for small children.

when i called to have mr montoya come out to evaluate the problems, he did come out to assess and determined that the majority of the work would take longer than the time he allotted for him/his employees that day. i understood so we rescheduled to have the work completed on another date. he cancelled the next appointment with little notice. when i contacted him to reschedule he told me to and quot;go find someone else to do itand quot; and hung up the phone on me. his work is below average and frankly i now have to hire another plumber now to fix these problems. knowing his workmanship, however, this may be better for us in the long term. while his pricing is not unreasonable, don't expect him to stand by his workmanship. i would not recommend him at all. and frankly wish i didn't use his services to begin with. with regards to responsiveness, this was poor as well. in fact he was quite rude after his money was paid and the project was completed given the circumstances.

Richard and his crew showed up at 7:30 a.m. to tear out the basement floor and put in plumbing for a new toilet, sink and shower. Richard also redid all the vents and plumbing that was in the ceiling joists so that they were above where the ceiling would be. They dug up the floor and put in all the new plumbing, sealed the pipes with plumbing glue so there would be no leaks and put the floor back in. They were finished by 6:30 p.m. So far everything has worked perfectly and I am very happy with the results. Richard's quote was by far the best quote I received and his work was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Richard Montoya.

He looked at the water line in the refrigerator. I've used him for awhile. He has worked on bathroom fixtures and other things around the house. He is very efficient. He is dependable, and comes when he says he is going to.

2012 He showed up on time the crew worked hard and were done ahead of schedule.the only prolbem I had was that the crew dident seem to care about keeping my basement clean I put up a plastic wall to keep the dust under control and they kept tearing it so I had to keep fixing it i had to stick close to them. Mr Montoya Is a good plumber.and his son is a good worker But the guy they brought with them was the one I feelt I had to keep a eye on he dident seem to care.

I am so happy I called Montoya Plumbing. I called on a Saturday and my phone call was returned the same day. Rick came out on Monday to assess the needed repairs, and was very accomodating by fitting me into his schedule to repair a leak that kept me out of my home because the water had to be turned off. The price was reasonable and Rick and his team were very professional. As far as I'm concerned, Montoya Plumbing is my GO-TO plumber for all plumbing and related services. They did a great job and I'm very pleased..

I called Richard to get an estimate for replacing the sewer line in our basement. When he took a look at the sewer line he quoted us the price of $625 to replace the cast iron pipe with PVC. He also had to remove the toilet to replace the connecting drain. Richard said he could start between 7:30 am - 8:00 am and it would take him 4 hours to complete the job. Also, the work would be guaranteed. Richard and his son arrived at 8:00 am. I was completely blown away when Richard came and informed us that he had finished. It had been only 2 1/2 hours and Richard had replaced the sewer line, added a new sewer trap, placed our toilet back in place and cleaned up everything. Richard and his son did a superb job! He was prompt, explained everything in detail to us, and his pricing was unbeatable. If there is any other plumbing we need done in our house we will be calling Richard again. We will recommend Montoya Plumbing to all of our family and friends.

I was given Richard's name and number by my daughter who owns a bar and grill; she has used him for several years and is pleased with his work. I had a number of small plumbing repairs I needed and they added up t quite a list; plus I wanted information about potential remodeling projects that include plumbing.

I was able to contact Richard right away and set an appointment at a time convenient for me (I travel a lot, so my schedule can be difficult). He showed up on time, gave me very reasonable estimates (the weekend before I had been given outrageous estimates by a well-known, big name plumbing company in the area who basically wanted to sell and install new everything!). After discussing his estimates, I gave Richard the go-ahead and he did a great job, in the time he estimated, and the price he quoted. Everything is fixed and working! He explained things to me, advised me when something just needed a little tightening, and he repaired rather than trying to install new toilets, etc! There was one repair (occasionally leaky shower) that we agreed to defer as I'm looking at remodeling that bathroom.

I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the quality, integrity and professionalism that he personifies. I am definitely using him again - in 2 weeks as a matter of fact, when I have time in my schedule! (My house is about 40 years old and so along with these repairs, I am going ahead with some remodeling and upgrading that we discussed).

We had our bathrrom remodeled recently and soon afterwards discovered leaks in the toilet area and suspected leaks in the shower area as well but couldnt' tell exactly where all leaks were coming from.
Richard was recommended by a tile guy we used so we called him to come check it out. He came out the next day!
He had to open up a hole in our garage ceiling as the toilet area is right above the garage. Once he did that he could see leaking around what he thought was the toilet. Replaced the flange in the toilet but also opened up a wall in the vanity area as he suspected a leak in the shower as well.
He fixed the shower leak. However about a day later we saw some more drips from where he had opened up the wall. He quickly came out again the next morning at 7 AM as I had to go out of town and fixed it right away!
Haven't had a problem since. We really appreciated his speedy response and he got the job done quiclky. I would definitely use Richard again!

They had to take some pipes apart and had to grind one of the fittings and put it back together. Overall it was great. He is a really nice guy. He does good work, is very personable, and is very down to earth.

Richard and his helper did a great job. They worked in very tight conditions.

Regarding responsiveness, they deserve commendation on another job. My daughter's sump pump failed and flooded her basement. Panicking, she asked me for a recommendation, and I gave her Richard's number. He responded immediately, and replaced the unit, no wait.

Excellent service and good rates. He is fair and honest, not to mention great experience. He is good at diagnosing the problem and getting it fixed the first time.
