MOLLY MAID of North Kansas City

We have had Molly Maid for over a year now. They are a phenomenal group of people to work with. Katie is absolutely wonderful to speak with. She hears any complaint or unsatisfaction and she is going to get it fixed. She definitely is the lady that makes molly maid great! The group of ladies that have been cleaning our home have been great. Carol is fantastic! She takes her time, is VERY thorough, nice, and gets the job done. I wish all the cleaning crews were as great as Carol. Today she did a 5 Star cleaning in my opinion. The only reason this review is 4 stars is lack consistency, but after today's clean, it seems to be a lack of team members willing to do a great job. I'm happy to have Carol clean our home anytime. She gets it done just as quickly, yet thoroughly as of there were a team of 3 today.

I've had them a couple of times. They weren't perfect. Their price seemed average. They weren't the highest, they weren't the lowest, they were like in between. The work was good and I would hire them again. Three people came to complete the service.

I had the move-in/ move-out service performed on my new house. They were perfect cleaners, and gave helpful advice for how to clean different surfaces (also which brands to buy)! My only problem was that they were an hour and 20 minutes late, but they called and said they would be late. They verified that this would be okay with my schedule. It was so it wasn't a big deal. Something to remember with cleaners, is that they don't know how messy a house is until they get there, so if they have an appointment in front of yours, any cleaning business could be late. I paid $112.00 and tipped these ladies because they worked so hard and quickly. It was $100 well spent even with the delay of arrival!

Their deep cleaning involved three people working over a four-hour period. When they left, we were very disappointed. pictures hanging on walls hadn't been dusted at all. The front of kitchen appliances weren't clean, and looked somewhat "streaked" from whatever cleaner they use. Several shelves in a bedroom weren't dusted or touched. Things removed for dusting the tops of furniture were not put back the way they were originally. We cautioned them to be very careful around the pet bird, as they are very sensitive to cleaners. A bathroom sink was full of dust from the top of the medicine cabinet where they had dusted. They never cleaned out the dust afterward. Ceiling fans hadn't been dusted. We called the owner to complain. He was very responsive, coming out himself with one of his "best" cleaners to clean and dust what the others hadn't cleaned. The owner himself said he was appalled at the lousy work the crew had done, and didn't know "what they were thinking." When a crew came out again in a week or so to do the "normal" cleaning, the exact same three people came that had done the "deep" cleaning that we were so disatisfied with. Again, there were issues. Instead of dusting a ceiling fan's blades, one of them simply turned on the fan and let it run. Worse, a dusting rag had been left ON TOP OF THE BIRD's CAGE. When confronted about it, they claimed the rag wasn't theirs, even though it matched all the other rags they were using, and we don't own any of that color. Some detailed wood carving around a mirror simply had a dusting rag "waved" at it rather than actually dusted. We called immediately afterward and canceled their service. The owner said he was surprised we canceled them so quickly. Oy!
