They have great customer service. Had creatvie ideas. They are very wonderful.

The salesperson was very friendly and personable. She spent a lot of time showing us different options. Until my wife found exactly what she liked. It was a very enjoyable experience. We have been back to have the ring clean by them and it was the same friendly visit.

They took the watch apart, worked on it and said that it couldn't be fixed. They didn't try to sell me something and they didn't charge me to look at it. It was free; they took it apart and looked at it. They are really very nice and they are super professional. Their prices are very competitive. I take my watches there to get batteries all the time but they only charge me for the battery. They put the battery in for me and they just charge me for the battery. I can't even go to this place in the mall. I've bought jewelry from them as well.

They are fast, efficient, friendly and they have a lot of gorgeous jewelery to look at while your waiting.

While my husband experienced decent customer service while purchasing a watch, when we brought my wedding ring in to have the setting raised, the young blond lady chewing gum informed us that they would not be responsible for any damage to the diamond. This made me very uncomfortable and I asked her to explain why. She said that ALL jewelers have this policy and asked if we had the ring insured and we did. She then said that if something were to happen to the diamond that we could claim it on our insurance. Needless to say, her lack of concern helped us decide to NOT have them service my ring and we will never return and have already told my brother in law to avoid the place. We found out later that day at Glitters Jewelry in KS that not "ALL" jewelers have the policy the gum chewing girl had claimed.

I checked around and felt that their price was reasonable. I trust them. It's a very down to Earth shop. It is very casual. You see customers come in wearing overalls. The help is much the same. They are very good at what they do. Everything about them is good. They're building a new location now.

Told us it was repaired, but it broke about two days after we left the store. Went in again. This time they said they needed to order some parts. Paid a couple hundred dollars in advance for them to order the parts and install. They indicated about 2 weeks. About 2 week later I called, still not done. When they finally called, they ordered the wrong part. According to them the right part was probably going to be too expensive to fix. They suggested that perhaps we would just like to buy a different watch. Reluctantly we did so, but it now appears that we could have had it repaired for far less than they estimated. Also, at check out, the clerk "forgot" to credit us the amount we prepaid for the repair until after I reviewed the credit slip and noticed the error. Perhaps an accident, but also not entirely inconsistent with other reports I've read, heard or witnessed. The professionalism score I give them is based in part on this experience and in part on other experiences I've had with them.

Their hours are 10-6 Mon Tues, and Fri. 10-8 on Thurs. and Wed. and Sun. closed. They are very accommodating and understanding! They do china, flatware, jewelery, just about everything you can think of. They give you the personal attention you deserve and need.

I've been going to Meierotto's for years. They really are the best place to go when you want jewelry or have jewelry to be repaired. Other jewelers had told me my wedding ring couldn't be sized because of the setting. Meierotto's on site jewelers sized the ring just beautifully. Since I live in Brookside and they are north of the river, they also (for a small fee) mailed the ring to me. Excellent job!

The craftsmanship was exquisite, very thorough. They actually made suggestions as to repairing things that would wear down quickly. They called whenever work was completed, and were very pleasant to work with. Price reflects several rings and a watch. They are the best jewelry and watch service in the Midwest.

I looked in vain for an area business that does porcelain repair. Meierotto's Jewelry/Coin would occasionally show up in my Google searches as a resource but there was no mention of porcelain repair on their website. I called and was told they DID do porcelain repair on a case-by-case basis, depending upon how extensive the damage. I was invited to bring my collectible in (along with the chips that needed replaced). I was given a quote of $20-25 excluding sales tax which I thought was a very fair estimate. I was also told the repair would not be invisible and I signed a statement acknowledging that the repair was at my own risk. The actual charge was $21.50 including tax. I was told it would be ready in a week (no need to call to verify readiness)... it was ready as stated. The repair is well done and certainly exceeds anything I could have done with super glue and a toothpick! And if you are looking for high quality (expensive) jewelry ... this is the place! Recommend!
