The quality of the finished product was superb! Material used was top notch. Lovely people to work with. Took longer to finish than expected, but a minor glitch in view of the great finished product.

She did an excellent job and finished sooner then quoted. I was amazed she only needed the cushions and not the whole couch.

The chairs turned out beautifully.

They did a great job reupholstering the chairs. The chairs had two separate pieces and they made sure that the pattern in the fabric was in alignment on both pieces.

Everything went as promised. There was no problem with coordinating our schedule. The price they quoted was very reasonable and there were no extras. The new upholstery is nicely fitted and left over material was returned to us for making protective covers for arms and hear rest. They were very flexible with payment (we chose to use charge card). Overall, we are tickled with the work they did and are enjoying our like-new chairs

A wonderful experience. Julie gave me the option of buying my own fabric or ordering from them.
I ordered from them and they picked up furniture after the fabric had arrived.
Workmanship was great. The pick up and delivery of items was exactly when I was told it would be.

It went very well. Their quality was very good and their price was right.

All went very well. We have 6 dining room chairs that the fabric had been damaged and deteriorated over the years from the sun coming in the dining room window. Julie Sirna was very helpful with suggestions for places to buy fabric and how much fabric would be needed. We were able to order the fabric online and had it sent directly to Martinez Upholstery. Martinez replaced the pads as well as the upholstery. They picked up and delivered the chairs. Our fabric has a chevron pattern and each chair has the pattern in the identical same place. Very professionally done and they look great. I would highly recommend Martinez Upholstery.

After 6 weeks and not hearing from Martinez Upholstery, I called Monday at 10 on March 31st. Mr. Martinez answered and said that Julie was not in, but would be back in an hour or so. I told him that I was concerned because I had not heard anything and it had been 6 weeks. I described the items, and he was not even familiar with them. Seemed odd, since they are Victorian vintage. Julie did not call Monday. And by 10:00 on Tuesday when I still had not heard from her, I called again. No one answered, but I left a message stating my concern and how much time had elapsed and added that I was rather frustrated. Julie called right back. Her answer for why it was behind schedule was that there was a lot of gluing to do and it needed time to dry. (????)She said she should know more by Friday, March 4 or the latest Monday March 7 and she would call me one of those two days. She did not apologize, nor give me any reason for not calling about the delay. Her voice was rather lighthearted. Mine was not. I said I would look forward to hearing from her.

Today is Tuesday, March 15, and I have heard nothing since that call.

We dropped of the seats and the backs at their business and four weeks later picked up the completed job. The person who did the upholstery did a fantastic job. All of the edges and corners were well done. Additionally, there was a pattern in the fabric and the upholsterer made sure that the seat and the seat back were lined up. One pleasant surprise was that the upholsterer had marked the holes on the seat back with chalk, which made reinstalling the seat backs easier.

They did exactly what I asked for, nothing less, nothing more. Their price came in at literally a third of another bid I received. I'll use them again if I get the chance.

We are repeat customers of Julie's. She is an incredible businesswoman! She came out and measured for our pieces before a move to our new home. Our order was read before our house was....no problem for Julie. She gladly held our pieces until we could have them delivered. Upon delivery we were absolutely thrilled. The pieces look brand new! Julie treats your furniture as if it were her own...down to every last detail. You will not be disappointed with the quality work she delivers time and time again.

After seeing Martinez Upholstery on Angie's List, I called and Julie answered the phone. She estimated the amount of fabric needed, and I went shopping. When I found the perfiect fabrics for the 2 chairs, I called again and set up a pickup time. Julie's husband picked up the chairs and my fabric. He was very careful to make notes about which fabric went with which chair and what I wanted done.
One of the wing back chairs is very old and I think they bascially rebuilt it. The other was in fairly good shape, so less refurbishing to do.
Julie was very accurate in the amount of fabric I would need for each chair. (I was sure I was buying too, too much fabric.)
So about 3 weeks later - right on shedule - they delivered our chairs. A beautiful job!
Martinez Upholstery is wonderful..... the phone is answered by a person, calls are returned as promised, the price is fair for the work performed and pcik up and deliver when they say they will. And, the work they do is wonderful.
Julie is such a positive, happy person. It was a pleasure to do business with her. We will call upon Martinez Upholstery again!

Work was finished earlier than promised and everything looks great.

I dealt with Julie who was very professional, punctual and returned my calls and emails promptly. My chair looks beautiful and I have not found any fault in the workmanship and I am a picky, perfectionist! I will definitely use them again as the price was right and the quality exceptional!
