Terry and I struck a deal to paint my railing last spring.  I told him I was not in a hurry and to take care of big jobs first.  I called him in early to mid August and he told me that he had just finished a job and wanted to come the next day to do mine.  He did and while just preparing the railing for painting, his work made the deck look pretty sorry.  SO I engaged him to do the deck.  Now I have the best looking front porch on the block.  As we were setting up and arranging furniture on the porch, he came by and said there were a couple of spots he didn't get and that he would be back to fix them.  I was thrown for a loop and had to ask him to show me what he was talking about.  He showed me two tiny spots between the railing and the house.  I would never had seen these had he not pointed them out.  But knew they were there and HE wanted them fixed.  I would have no problems with hiring him for any additional work I might need done.
