John Black is thoughtful, considerate, neat and hardworking. He really tries to problem solve over the phone before coming out so he a good educated guess as to what might be occurring. This leaves him prepared when he stops out. He has a good rapport with his supplier (Pyramid Supply Company).

John always does a great job and is very honest. Twice I told him I needed a new garbage disposal and instead of installing the new one he brought out he found and fixed the problem with the one I have.

Little John came out. He fixed an outdated toilet and took a look at a rusted pipe that came up in the inspections. He was very reasonable priced and gave me advice on some things to fix myself and what I could buy. Nice guy!

Never have we had a single problem with any of the jobs and everything is always working right the first time. John even came out on emergency notice when we had a broken pipe on a Saturday. We believe he's honest, never telling us to do work that isn't necessary. Saved bucks with him over the years when others told us to fix things (e.g., was advised to replace water heater by someone else 4 years ago and John fixed it and it is still going strong!)

He's good but not the best. He's not totally able to handle all the projects we'd like done, technically.

He did a good job. He was willing to give advice on some problems we had. The price was reasonable. He was willing to fix things without charging us. He did the job in a way that saved us money.

I thought the problem was the wax ring under the toilet. John found that the problem was really the seal between the tank and the bowl. When we remodeled, apparently we got a second class toilet. Who knew?John repaired it promptly and cheaply. He also offered to get us a better toilet at a reasonable price. We haven't taken him up on it yet. But everytime I look at the old one, I'm tempted. Any day now.
