Had to keep after contractor do things properly, such has using underlayment beneath the shingles, painting exposed nail heads and trimming out the new siding correctly. Rotted wood trim that needed to be replaced was painted and not replaced until it was pointed out to contractor. Painting subcontractors were sloppy and disorganized. Did not use drop cloths when scraping paint and seemed to have a "that's good enough" attitude. Tools and supplies were sometimes not all put away at end of day. They also left trash (fast food sacks and cups, empty paint cans) for someone else to pick up.
