It went extraordinarily well. We made an appointment to take the car in there and were seen promptly. They were obviously busy because a lady walked in and they told her that they had people waiting and that she would need to make an appointment.
When they looked at my car, it was obvious that the serpentine belt needed replacing. Instead of digging in and finding all sorts of (expensive) fixes that could possibly be done, they did the repair that seemed the most obvious without anything else. They told us that if that didn't fix the problem, to bring the car back in and they'd take a second look at it. Fair enough.
Replacing the serpentine belt has made an improvement. Ours, is an old car and we could throw a lot of money at it, so we'll wait and see how it goes. From now on, we are going to take it to Laurel Heights. Dwayne is the guy in charge and he seem like an honest dyed-in-the-wool kind of guy.
I honestly don't remember the exact price. I just remember thinking that it was remarkably different than the repair costs at the dealership which were ratcheted up to $1000 when I spoke with them a week before!

This is our quick go-to location for little issues that pop up (it's just blocks from our home). The staff have always taken a prompt look at our issue and are often willing to squeeze in a quick fix on the spot, for a very reasonable cost.

Completely honest, very competent and very fair pricing - much lower than dealerships in most cases. Great customer service.

By the time we got the vehicle to the shop, it wasn't acting up anymore. They diagnosed the problem, but said it seemed to have cleared itself up. They said they would fix the part if we wanted them to, but said we may as well just wait until it really needed to be replaced. If they would have told me it should be fixed right now, I would have done it. I appreciated that they were straight with me about it. All we were charged was a $50 diagnostic fee, which I felt was reasonable.

I've been taking my car here for about five years and have always been happy with service. I had a 15-year-old car and they helped keep it plugging along although Dewayne always told me I needed to consider a new one. I trust them completely and service is always on time and done well. I recently took Dewayne's advice and actually sought his advice on makes and models to consider. I now have the new car and will take it there for service not covered by warranty. You cannot go wrong with this company.

Laurel Heights is upfront, honest, quick, and tries to get the job done as timely as possible. They offer a warranty on their work. Excellent communication about the problem, changes and time frames. They go out of their way!

I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so. The cost depends on what they do but it is very reasonable.
