I initially hired this real estate team with my mom based on a reference as she was coming from out of the area. We began the search for a home March 2013. The homebuying experience was fine. A windstorm caused damage to her new home the night before closing. We were surprised that after such a storm, the realtor did not inspect it. There was blue tarp all over the neighborhood as my mom arrived, after closing. She was assured that repairs would be made by the team and the builder. Water had leaked into the basement because the gutters were not in place. New insulation had to be installed in the basement. There were water spots in the master bedroom. The team arranged for the repairs and painting of the bedroom to be done right away. There were many phone calls about the basement insulation. Finally, several months later, we decided to have repairs made on our own (as mom had mold growing quickly in her house), and advised the team the expense was $700.00. She wanted to try Small Claims Court but the cost was prohibitive, as the builder was out of state, and had no registered agent in Missouri. After a few more months, she contacted them again, was told they would go to bat on her behalf with the builder. I was cautiously optimistic. Two more months later, after inquiring about progress, we received this email response from Kristi on June 23rd 2014, "It was not our intention to have this outcome. My apologies."

Excellent!! I don't have enough good things to say about Kristi and her team. They were professional, courteous and went out of their way to help us find a new home. We dragged poor Kristi along on more house-hunting trips than you can imagine (sometimes with our 3-year-old son), but she never complained and always went out of her way to help us. Unfortunately (for Kristi) we ended up building, but if you are looking for a home in the Northland, hire Kristi Soligo!!
