Kingdom Movers was a true "God send" for my family. Long story short; we were within a couple weeks of an out-of-state move and left with only one very expensive option. I hung up the phone after hearing our original moving quote increased by thousands of dollars, and within seconds Kingdom Movers called. John and the KM crew we're amazing to say the least. KM is professional, prompt, great communicators, and are fairly priced. Beyond all that they truly care about their clients. It's not every day a person you just meant prays for you, your family and blesses your new home. A true class act!

Overall things went GREAT! The guy's doing the actual move were polite, clean and hard workers. The estimate was accurate and they accept credit cards. I would recommend you get an estimate from them and compare. You wont be disappointed. The total time for my move move 4.5 hours. Kingdom Movers provided two experienced men, a large 26' box truck, all of the moving quilts, dollies and other equipment. The owner, John McCracken, was good about communicating by phone and text. This company is has strong Christian values and ethics.

A pleasure to work with John and his crew- Andrew, Noah and Anthony. Absolutely tireless, never stopped, very conscious that every minute they stood around was wasting my money - how often do you see that? And pleasant and polite young men who went out of their way to help and offered above and beyond to set things up. Disconnected things and set them up, made good suggestions for how to handle items they couldn't take and did this amazing job of packing the truck so I wouldn't have the expense of an extra to and fro. You couldn't have squeezed a mosquito in there when John got done packing. John BTW had a tendency to move at the light with objects I figured he could NEVER handle by himself and did. I highly recommend them.

"Thank you so much for your time and kind words [Member Name Removed]. My guys and I thoroughly enjoyed serving you and we're all very appreciative of you're going over and beyond and serving us breakfast and lunch, and to top it off you still tipped us. Who does that!? With me being on a Candida diet I thought it would be impossible to eat lunch, yet you went out there and found the ingredients I needed to fulfill my diet! I have never been treated with such relentless generosity and kindness on a move!"

Everything went very smoothly. We hired them over 3 years ago to move our home , which is no easy task. They did great and would hire them again. They are energetic, honest, and on time. (Careful with our things too.)

Wife called to get estimate for move. Was told $600-800 max. She scheduled the move for 8AM. The day of the move we texted at 8:30 to get an ETA. Was told that their 1) scheduling system was down and 2) that due to the storm the previous day they were running behind. In all honesty, I don't believe they had remembered we were scheduled to move that day. They did scramble to get a crew by 3:00 PM that same day. Crew did a great job, had a great attitude did not damage one thing that we can tell. Pros: Great crew. Cons: I'm sure it was a fluke but they did not show up on time. Went over estimate by almost 20% Bottom Line: Would I use again? The experience with the moving crew was so good that I would probably hire them again. In all fairness the $950 was fair price for the service performed. But next time I would definitely have a written firm estimate (I fault myself for not getting that in the first place).

It went very smoothly..I could tell that the lead, John, and then this many times he sized up the stacks of tubs furniture etc. that needed to go in and then and it went was just like Tetris. Everything was stacked to the ceiling and wall to wall. He and his partner moved some very awkward items and were very careful with fragile items. I would highly recommend them to anybody for any service that they offer!!

Kingdom Movers saved the day for my daughter. After a very disappointing "NO SHOW" from local KC movers Secure Moving and Storage Kansas City- waited all day with no courtesy call. Kingdom made it happen. John, the owner, heard the desparation and concern in my voice. Put on his "movers hat", call someone into work because his other crews were out, then moved my daughter himself. In extreme heat, they moved her fast. What a moving experience in more ways than one. On a spiritual note, John and his worker (whose name escapes me) prayed with my daughter and I after the move. This gave us peace after 2 stressful days of trying to move from one place to another. God sent John to save the day for us. Thank you, Kingdom Movers. May God continue to bless your business.

I hired some movers off of craigslist. Kingdom Movers called later and I had already made the initial hire. The initial hire were the most irresponsible, rude, awful Movers/people that I had never met. They made me pay them initially through a cash app. They did not hire a truck for moving day. They finally found one off of Prospect and U-Haul requires a dollar per mile. The head guy lied to me. He told me he had to go speak with his boss and borrow a truck. He does not have a boss. He took pictures of another company’s trucks and placed them on his craigslist site and named his company after the trucks. It took almost 2 hours to begin the move because of his in adequacy and renting a truck like he should have supposed to have done. I bought furniture off have next-door.com and gave him the address for every home he needed to go to. The addresses were in order. He yelled at me and told me they were not. He continually told me that I was taking advantage of him. He required that I pay him in cash. He would not except a credit card machine as he did not have one. Kingdom Movers called me after I spoke with this individual otherwise I would definitely have hired them. When the movie started to go south initially I am mediately contacted Kingdom Movers who were going to help me immediately because of the situation. They were respectful, helpful and wanted to do anything they could to help me. Kingdom Movers called me after I spoke with this individual otherwise I would definitely have hired them. I would definitely recommend that anybody hire Kingdom Movers. I most definitely well the next time I move.

It went without a hitch. They were a few minutes early and worked exactly as long as they estimated. The were kind, gracious, hardworking, not complaining, and carefully stacked things in our storage unit like they were building legos! I was worried they would run out of space. They said they could get it in, and they did, with room to spare.

This is the worst moving experience I've ever encountered. And I've had my wedding flowers crushed. To begin with, the owner asked that we pay him in cash because his business account was overdrawn. Suspect, but okay. We'll help you out. When the day of the move arrives on Friday, March 15th, they were an hour and a half late. I had to call the owner a half hour in to their scheduled arrival time to find out where they were. He said he had personnel issues the night before and hopefully they would be along soon. As they packed the truck, the movers managed to break off the base of one of our nice TVs. As they were loading our 3 TVs, they were pushing and shoving them in. We could hear the squeak of plastic-on-plastic and then the base tore off. They said they could screw it back on by driving bolts through the back of the broken base. Thank you, no. Then, as they were loading our hutch which is a family heirloom, they wanted to place a gliding chair on top with no blankets or anything between. I had to finally tell them to stop and add some blankets. Had I not, they would have left those two pieces to bounce together during transport. Of our two movers, Nathaniel was great. He was upbeat, moving quickly, great customer service game. The other mover was slow, grumpy and overall had a poor disposition. At one point, the second mover decided he would setup our washer without telling us. I don't mind that level of service, but when we walked by, we think he thought we were Nathaniel because he said aloud "I'm over all this s***." That's incredibly out of line and in bad taste. Then, when we tried to use our washer, we discovered it was hooked up incorrectly and our floor was met with a flood of water. The dryer was left for us to hook-up. The movers were also unable to move everything we had. There wasn't much: we didn't even have a LR set or dining room table because we sold them. It was a 3 bed, 2 bath house. This would leave everything down to poor packing. They didn't offer to return to the first house to get the remaining furniture, so we had to get our own U-Haul the next day, costing us an extra $100 to get the remaining furniture. Once the move was completed, we attempted to contact the owner to discuss the damaged TV. No answer. Even though he gave us two numbers to get ahold of him that day, neither us, nor his employees could contact him. We opted to pay everything but $70 pending a callback from him so we could discuss damages. After we attempted to contact him multiple times on Friday, March 15th after the job was completed, we called again on March 16th at 11:25am which was not answered. This is, clearly, within the 24-hour period required on the contract since the job wasn't completed until after 4pm on the 15th. We were not able to make contact with the owner until March 20th at 3:10pm--5 days after the move took place. Once we made contact, he advised that he happened to be on his Honeymoon during that week. Okay, I get that. But communicate to your customers that you will be getting married and then on your Honeymoon, therefore will be radio silent. It's odd that the owner gave us numbers to reach him and then failed to answer them when used. While on the phone, I told him that we discovered that nearly every piece of furniture that wasn't in a box had some sort of damage on it: scrapes, scratches, gouges, and the like. I also reported the customer service issues we had. He requested photos be sent to him and then he would consult a repair professional to discuss repair costs and apologized for our experience and that he would get back to us quickly. We sent the photos within a couple of days on March 25th. I had to text him myself on April 3rd asking if he received them. He stated he did receive them, but the photos look like previous damage. He mentioned he spoke to his two movers and they stated that we "exaggerated" our experience. He states the damages could be repaired with the amount we didn't pay in full ($70). We responded saying that we wanted him to honor his contract agreement that they will pay for damages incurred during the move, but he states he wasn't informed of them within the 24-hour period. While we initially only recognized the TV damage moments after the move was completed, it is unrealistic to expect us to note any and all other damages to communicate to the owner and/or his movers before they left our residence. However, we did note it later that evening and the following day. This is what we attempted to discuss with him within that 24-hour period, yet we were unable to make contact. We are not prone to claiming false damages. There was obviously prior damage on a wooden desk that we even joked about with Nathaniel. At no point have we claimed that damage or tried to scam the owner or his company over it or any other damages. It clearly states in our contract with the company that they "agree to repair, replace, or compensate the customer to their satisfaction if we damage any items." At the bottom of this same contract, it says that they will honor those damages if discovered within the 24-hour period, which we clearly did discover within the appropriate time frame. It is not appropriate to fault the customer for being unable to make contact with the owner simply because he didn't answer his phone. Looking at the damage photos, it is obvious that the damage is new: there's still splintering present on many of the damage spots and the wood coloring appears as freshly exposed wood. This is not typical appearance of old damage. We're only asking that the company honor their agreement and fulfill the terms of the contract by resolving the damage the company caused. This is not an out-of-line request.

"Hi, we always appreciate good and poor feedback so we can provide the best service for our clients. We take pride in the movers that we hire. We make sure they are the utmost honest and have integrity. ALWAYS. We train them to looks for previous scratches and damages on furniture. We train them to take pictures of the items on the load that way if there’[Member Information Removed] any discrepancies, there’[Member Information Removed] proof and accountability on both ends. The damages on your furniture was previously present. Every mover on your move agreed to that statement. On the other hand, they damaged your tv stand. We happily replaced it immediately upon returning from my honeymoon. If there’[Member Information Removed] ever damages that take place while our movers are on the job site, they tell the customer immediately and call a manager. We uphold honor and excellence. We send out a repair service as fast as we can to get those repairs fixed. We take care of the payment of damages. We always hear both sides of the story and try our best to do what’[Member Information Removed] right. We love our customers and aim to serve them well! I’m sorry this was your experience and I hope that we can move past this."

Great! Three men showed up at the agreed upon time. They were neatly dressed and immediately assessed the situation. I told them where some of the boxes and furniture pieces should be put and told them to figure out the rest! They were extremely nice and cooperative. They worked efficiently and were careful with everything. Before they left the man I worked with the most offered to pray with me. I'm Jewish and told him I don't "do" Jesus. He said a lovely prayer that was perfect for me as a widow. It was odd for me but it was ok. If I'd said no, he wouldn't have so he didn't force it on me. I'll be having them back in a week or two to put back everything they took out! So yes, I'll rehire them.
