Our dog had been having difficulty eating dry food. She was due for a teeth cleaning and we suspected she might have a bad tooth but our regular vet was not available so we took her to Kennedy. They did an exam and did an extensive and rather expensive blood work. The next day the blood work came back and they started telling us that there were all these "red flags" (they used nice scary words like "tumor" and "cancer". They said before they would do a teeth cleaning they wanted to do almost $400 in additional tests including full chest cavity x-rays. It was very clear that Kennedy was trying to get us to pay for unnecessary and expensive tests to jack up the bill.

We decided to wait and get the test results sent to our regular vet. He looked them over and saw none of these "red flags" that Kennedy claimed required all these additional tests. There was no evidence that suggested a tumor or cancer. Our dog did have a cracked tooth however that was infected and the next day our regular vet did a routine teeth cleaning and removed the problem tooth. All went well.

We truly feel that Kennedy was dishonest with us. They were more interested in finding ways to jack up our bill rather than treating our dog.

All went great, she was fast and efficient, and it did not cost a fortune!  We did appreciate that.

I'm not sure if it was a miscommunication as to what "hand stripping" is or whether the groomer did not know how to do it.  We expected our dog to be stripped down and he was not. 

We them all the time. We are a rescue and pay 1000$ of dollars a year to her. We meet the medical needs of the animals. They have the best prices and she is experienced and knows what she is doing. She is an excellent vet and knows what she is doing.
