I found this shop through [removed] and there were excellent reviews. I bought a voucher from [removed] coupon to get a $10.00 discount and then took my shoes and a suitcase to the store. Both pairs of shoes were in sorry shape and needed heels and soles. The suitcase had a plastic squeeze to release fastener that was cracked and needed to be replaced. The owner told me a price on the shoes and said that if he could not find the fastener replacement, both end fittings would need to be replaced and the suitcase taken apart in order to attach the new fittings. He gave me a date when it would be ready. All the work was ready as promised and to my surprise he had devised a way to replace both fittings that did not involve rebuilding the suitcase. I was impressed with the honesty, integrity and ingenuity that I encountered.

When we brought it in, David apologized what it would cost because of all the hardware that needed to be protected and time it would take to do it right. I was thrilled if the purse would look like new, and last another 8 years.
David dyed and polished it, and when I picked it up it looked like new. All the hardware was perfect, and the leather was just like the day I bought it. Very professional, done on time, and excellent craftsman.

He is a really great cobbler. I don't remember how much it was but I got three boots done at the same time and it was may be $100. I took in a belt buckle that I didn't have a belt for that I found in my father-in-law's after he passed away and the guy made me a belt to fit it. It was really cool because I just walked in with this belt buckle out of nowhere and he fabricated the belt. He let me pick the color and the texture of the leather and then he made this really cool belt for my husband from his dad's belt buckle which I thought was really cool. The reason I took the belt buckle there was because he has soled my husband's boots a couple of times, so I asked him if he could do it and he said he could.

We took my daughters riding boots to KC Shoe Repair a few years ago. Riding boots have a zipper up the back and he had to replace the zipper. You would never know that he had replaced the zipper. They looked brand new. The price was very reasonable. They were very nice people.

THEY FIXED THE HEEL OF MY BOOT QUICKLY. THEY HAD IT DONE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE HEEL SINCE.
