About us

We specialize interior remodeling including custom kitchens, bathrooms, and basement finishes. Our team of skilled craftsman only know quality and “good enough” is never accepted. We have a residential building contractor license in Kansas and Missouri so our jobs are permitted and inspected including the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. In the remodeling industry you are not going to get a high quality job done right for cheap and fast. There are many unforeseen issues that can arise during a remodel job, extra electrical work, plumbing work, drywall work which can add to the cost of a project quickly. Small bathroom updates- new flooring, tub/shower, vanity, faucet, light, and paint start around $8500 Kitchen remodels including, cabinets, counter tops, sink, faucet, backsplash, lighting, appliances easily run around $20k and up. Basement complete finishes With a bedroom, bathroom, and family/living area, Everything permitted and done correctly to code with framing, flooring, paint, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, drywall, trim, doors, and finished 3/4 bathroom start around $40k

Brandon came to assess the damage and explained how things would be repaired. He also explained some issues with the house that another contractor had said we needed to fix. Turns out the issue was within code - thanks to Brandon's advice. His team were all quality people and showed up when they said they would and cleaned up as well. Would definitely hire again.

Brandon and his team did a very professional job. This was a very positive experience. I'm happy with work they did for us. The whole team had great work ethics, working somedays as much as 10 hours to finish on time. Brandon communicated what was happening and always made sure of any concerns we may have had. I would highly recommend KC Renovation Concepts.

KC Renovation Concepts did exactly what the contract called for. Brandon Smith and his crew completed the job quickly and efficiently and all acted professionally and were very courteous. We would definitely refer them to others and would use them again it we ever needed other work done.

Whenever you hire a contractor, no matter how many reviews you read, you always take a bit of a blind leap. I am very glad that we took a blind leap on Brandon. He finished our basement for a reasonable price and did an excellent job; just as importantly, he was so easy to work with. He always gave great advice (even if it meant less money in his pocket) and has even offered to show my husband and I how to lay our flooring -- again, saving US money, not putting it in his pocket. He will definitely be our go-to for future projects.

Our experience was very positive; Brandon and his team did an excellent job and we are thrilled with the work they did for us. I started with a rough layout of what I wanted. KC Renovation Concepts took this very basic starting point and turned it into exactly what I was hoping for. They were fast, efficient, and very easy to work with. As with any project, there were some minor setbacks during construction. Brandon kept us informed of what was happening throughout the entire process, made sure he knew what we wanted, and made sure things were done right before they left. My wife and I are very satisfied with both the service and the final product. We highly recommend KC Renovation Concepts.
