Prior to me moving in KC quality was brought in to add braces to existing beams and to repair cracks in the wall to prevent leaking. In their “it’s stated that all structural restraints are guaranteed for a 10 year period against movement caused by hydrostatic or lateral pressure. There has been movement and I brought out an engineer to take a look and they told me that I shouldn’t until the wall with fixed. When I called Casey quality about the 10 year warranty they told me that the braces they installed we’re not covered under the warranty because the beans were existing. Unfortunately I was not made aware of this before they did their work and the did not specify between existing and new. Stay away from this company. They don’t stand behind the work they do. I feel completely taken advantage of and I now have to pay Thousands of dollars more to have it fixed.

The repairs were not installed correctly. The installers left a gap between the wall and the braces and when in rained, water would seep up through that gap. The cracks that were to be repaired were also not done correctly per a structural engineer's recommendations (which they agreed to adhere to when I hired them). When I brought up my concerns to this company they got very defensive and did not want to accept responsibility for the poor workmanship. I asked the owner to come and review his installers work. He assured me he would he would, but he did not. I cannot recommend this company. Neither of the owners stood behind their work. Additionally, I found out that the owner of KC Quality Foundation is the son of the structural engineer I hired and no one from KC Quality Foundation mentioned their relationship when I hired them. I asked for a partial refund because I felt so betrayed by them and after they refused, I agreed to let them make the necessary repairs. Again the owner never came out or took the time to view the work that was done by their installers. They corrected some of the work, but not all. Stay away from this company! They are unreliable and do not stand behind their work.

Great service from a local company!  Brock was very responsive and completed his initial review of our issues via our inspection report so he could famililarize himself with the property before seeing it in person.  They completed the work in a clean and timely fashion and were very reasonably priced.  When it comes to basement issues, we appreciated that Brock/KC Quality were straight shooters...they provided thorough information regarding the existing issues/potential for future problems but did not use a scare tactic that would have led us down the path of much more costly, immediate repairs.

I was selling my house and the buyers were concerned with a crack in the foundation wall.  I'd had all the cracks epoxy sealed about 8 to 10 years prior, but due to ground movement, they had opened a little.  My realtor had suggested this company, so I went with them since I was under a bit of a time crunch.  They came on time and began working.  I was amazed at how quickly they were able to complete the work.  They were very professional and cleaned up very well after they were done.  The buyers were very satisfied with the work, as well.

approved this company to do a well push back on a basement wall.  Before the work was ever started I pointed out multiple time the sill plate was sticking out and communicated that that needs to be flush.  They dug the dirt out from the outside of my wall so they could push it back. I told them that the drain pipe was on the outside of my house and goes into the house to the sump pump.the worker said that is not how they are I told them and proved to them that that is how mine was.  they did break the drain tile and did replace it which was fine.  I asked them muliplte times if they were going to put 4-6 feet of gravel over the drain tile.  That is a normal process and should be done on every wall bracing.  I asked again and they finally put approxmiately 2 inches to cover the drain tile but was pointless.  While the workers were flying in and out of my garage where I had a car that I told them they could use the back door so they woudlnt go by my car they said no we would be careful so I trusted them.  Well that was the wrong thing to do on my part.  One person knock stuff off my shelf that I caught and it didnt hurt it but did show the lack of carefulness being used.  I thien saw them take heavy things in and out and saw a hose with a metal end hit my rear view mirror on my car after I checked it later saw it now had a scratch on my mirror.  they denied it but I actuallly saw it happen and had to argue with the lead to get them to commit to take money off...I first ask for  50 dollars which is no where near the amount it will take but after being ignored I got mad and told them I would not accept lower than 150 dollars for the mishap.  They lead finally unwilling agreed to do this.

I had a sump pump exteriror pipe that was thought to be broke during digging but I was not sure.  It turned out to be a second pipe in my yard but they cut the good pipe whith out checking.  They did fix this and I eventually had to check it myself to  make sure no problems.

While in the digging process turned out I had to take 3 bushes  and a fence the tactor got black into my back yard and they wanted to rolll it through my back yard all the way around the front which I did not care to happen due to the hoe and wight of it on my yard.  Luckily this did not happen because my fence would not open.

So once the wall was pushed out and I once again stated the wall is not flush and It needs to be flush I was told it was a siding persons job which I knew it was not and I did not give in on my thoughts.  so the job got mostly doen and they wanted money.  the lead argued with me very loud in my yard and front yard which was very ridiculous, unprofessional and very aggravating.

The project was in late November.  After arguing with the lead I called 7 other foundations companies and every one of them stated gravel should be used on outside of the walll to releive pressure and everyone one of them stated the wall should be flush and that should be part of the job.  they tried to jack it up think it would release and come in on the wall but instead it broke my sill  plate and is still 1 and 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches push out of being flush.

I told them to get a engineer to come work on it or figure it out but they wanted me to pay for that and I told them it was not going to happen it their problem they need to fix or I was not paying them any money.

I waited and waited figured as a business I would be a top priority on their list after the holidays like mid January.  I have not hear a peep from them.  Only thing I heard from them is when they get a D rating on Angies list.

Well the D rating will not be removed I am not going to deal with the company and I highly suggest  you do not eaither.  This company may be good priced and do simple jobs but if any problems come up like as in my case they ignore you like you didn't even exist.

It is really a joke companies like this can exist and are not held responsible but I am not done.

Everything went very well.  Kody showed up on time and started the work right away.  Had a couple of rain delays but right back to it when it was dry enough.  Finished on time and cleaned everything up very well.  He decided that one of the piers was not necessary so he discounted it off the estimate.  Great guy to work with.  Very polite and hard working.

Their price was good. The first mistake we made was going with a different place. The other foundation repair company was going to charge us $18,000 to fix the foundation. They didn't have a lifetime transferrable warranty. Their warranty was only for like five years. They were heavy radio advertisers so we didn't know who else to call. We decided to do some other things. The first thing we did was join Angie's List. We found KC Quality Foundation Repair LLC. Their estimate was much closer to $8,000 than to $18,000. That saved us a lot of money right there.

It went AWESOME!!  Kody is a great guy that really cares about his customers and making sure they are happy.  If I need any work done with my foundation or basement, he will be the first person I call.  He was so helpful as you can read from the services he performed for us.  I think he is just starting out....but he has an amazing work ethic, and stands behind his work.  It had been almost a year since he did the work on our house but he still came out and went out of his way to help us, and never charged us for doing something that was not his problem.  I can't thank him enough!
