They have done a great job.  They’ve been reliable and have come out repeatedly whenever I needed them to.

Nothing went right with this job.  Some examples of the problems I am still trying to have resolved: The contractor used the wrong size nails when installing the new plywood base, and I now have hundreds of nails sticking through my soffits.The contractor destroyed a large section of my driveway when he overloaded a large drop-off container and then attempted to move it, buckling the driveway in front of it.  (The contractor did ultimately repair the driveway.) The contractor destroyed my gutters, despite the contract containing written instruction to protect the gutters.  (I incurred an additional cost of $1200 to have new gutters installed by a better contractor).The contractor did not install any of the flashing correctly, resulting in leaks that still continue.  The contractor left a huge mess, despite assurances that they would clean everything and use a metal detector to make sure all of the nails were removed (I ended up with 4 roofing nails in one of my car's tires, the tire had to be replaced).
The contractor has not resolved the issues, despite direction from the Better Business Bureau to do so.The contractor does not return phone calls and is completely non-responsive.When I withheld the final payment in an attempt to get the contractor to respond to the issues, they put a lien against my house

He didn't call me back right away, but then when I called him he was out there right away. Satisfactory work and a reasonable price.

It seems that very few companies are willing to repair flat roofs! After talking to several roofing companies, JR & Co was the only one willing to make an attempt at repairing my roof. Over the course of about 6 months, Richard and Johnathan were here several times patching the holes and torn places. Richard would call me every time it looked like rain and remind me to call him to let him know if the roof was leaking. After the patches were complete, they installed "walking pads" that hopefully will prevent the aggressive "rotten" raccoons from trying to get into my house! This job was much more complicated than I have detailed, I would have to let Richard explain everything they did with this disaster. Also I was not billed until the leak was fixed and the job was completed. I am very thankful that they were finally able to get the problem solved.
