We have two furnaces, and they inspect them every fall. They change the air filter; we have super-duper air filters connected to the furnace, they change that if needed, normally it does once a year. They check the humidifiers. They clean them and they change the pad in the humidifier every year. There are two of them, one in each furnace. If it's warm outside, they will come and they check the air conditioners. We haven't done that yet because it hasn't been that warm consistently in the morning.

They did some work for us in our attic. We had to have some ducts replaced up there because there's a third-floor window that apparently was not a treated window and the UVA lights, all the different UVV or whatever it was coming in deteriorated the covering on these tubes up there. So, we had the window replaced because it was leaking water down through the ceiling. After the repair company did that, the furnace folks came and replaced these tubes that promote the furnace main ducts. They checked the furnace in the fall and then the air conditioners get checked in the spring and if we have any other questions, you know they come out and take a look.

When we originally bought the  house 13 years ago we bought a furnace and air conditioning unit that is still working for about $4,500 - $4,800. Last winter we bought a furnace for my mother-in-law's small house that is next door, it is about 900 square feet, and it was about $1,700. They are excellent and are absolutely the best. We have been using them since, about, the 1980's. They have never, ever let us done. It is a competitive price. It is a good price and we don't feel like we've been cheated at all. We've gotten prices from other vendors as well. Their quality is outstanding. The furnace that we replaced at my mother-in-law's house they put in in the '80's and they just now had to replace it so it is outstanding. They have actually caught mistakes other vendors have made on other installations.

Last fall Randy came and looked at my air conditioner and told me it was shot.  Went back and did a lot of work talking to my furnace manufacturer to get info on how to work with an oversized furnace to make it compatible and work correctly.  Got all his info together and presented me with an estimated contract and thoroughly went over everything with me.

End of April, made an appointment and Randy came out to have me sign the contract and go over any questions again and the details.  We set up and appointment.  They were on time, in fact he has been on time or early every time I have them come to my house during this process.

Installed new air conditioner, new electrical switch, replaced everything really.  Tested it and made adjustments.  We talked at length about air flow, the new unit, etc.

Great to work with and very professional.  I know it was done right.

Very impressed with their knowledge and their desire to do things correctly.

I have been using them for a long time. They come out for the yearly checkups. I am satisfied with them and will continue to use them in the future. Their price is reasonable.

I had a service contract with them where they would service twice a year.  They have also installed 2 furnaces for me.  They also fixed our Central Air.  I have been very pleased.  I felt like their prices are competitive.  They were a little bit late one time.  They cleaned up their mess.

On July 15 in the middle of a heat wave, my AC quit. Expecting a wait of days I was delighted that they could come out the next day. They got it running but it had a significant loss of coolant and I wasn't given high hopes for how long it would last. The unit was 16 years old and it did indeed freeze up again. I called again on July 29, They came out on Aug 2 and had a new unit installed on Aug 4. This was during a run of unseasonably hot weather and I was amazed - and grateful! - that they could respond that fast. Since the furnace was also 16 years old I elected to have both replaced at the same time. Randy Sears gave me the estimate. He was personable and thorough, giving me a variety of options and making sure I understood them. There was ample time for questions and he walked me through the system in my basement - from electrical box to outside unit - pointing out every part and connection, explaining what changes (and why) they would make. They estimated a day and a half to install but were able to finish in one day. The AC unit had to be hauled up rough stone steps that are part of a retaining wall and maneuvered in a narrow area beside a deck. I was warned that some of the landscaping plants might be damaged but they were very respectful of my plants and I couldn't see any damage at all. They removed the old equipment and picked up every single scrap of material. You couldn't have told they were ever there. I couldn't have asked for better service or nicer people to deal with. And the most amazing part was the price. I got bigger and more efficient units for less than $100 more than I paid for the original furnace/AC 16 years ago! Johnson Furnace Co. installed those too and I have had 16 years of excellent service from them in the meantime.
