Johnson Appliance Repair

I called them on Saturday and had to leave a message. They called back within a half hour. He scheduled an appointment for Monday. Called before he came and was on time. He told us what was wrong with our washer and suggested what we needed to do. I appreciated his professionalism and honesty. I would definitly use them again.

The service man was very polite and understanding of my financial situation. He tried to get me the best deal on getting my fridge fixed. Unfortunately, the compresser was bad which is a $600 part to replace. He recommended places to buy used refrigerators. While he was here I remembered my stove was having an issue and he looked at that as well.What i liked about the guy is that he knew what he was doing and he was very responsive to my financial situation and tried to give me the best deal.

The phone call was pleasant

It all went very smoothly.  He knew where to go, how to get there, what needed to be replaced, and how to do it

The work was easy to schedule; I set up the appointment for the next day. The repairman arrived when expected. He quickly found the problem and fixed it and he told me what caused the problem so I can prevent it from happening again. From start to finish it took less than an hour.

There was a substantial delay (more than a month) in obtaining the needed part. I had to follow up a couple of times. However, once the part was received, service was great. Part installed and problem fixed.

It is still working now. He was very polite and that's always high on my list. It wasn't high pressure, he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. He correctly diagnosed the problem, got the part and came back and installed it. I would rate his professionalism high, he was a good person, courteousy and polite. The salesmanship involved was good and he was punctual.

Calvin came 1 hour after my phone call, pulled out the refrig.but found no leak. He then looked into the inside of the box and found behind the back of the freezer wall a thick ice encasement of the coil which he melted away. The thermostat which controls icing was malfunctioning . He replaced it with a new one from his truck. He found nothing more so he left. The next morning the floor was wet once more and Calvin came right out. This time he found a small crack in the dual water/ice control valve , removed it and replaced it with a new one from his truck. After that we found that the water flow to the ice maker and ice water tap had almost doubled. This time he never had to come back and we were very faithful for that.

He came in and gave an observation of the part that needed to be replaced. After making several calls he was able to locate the part which he went to pick up. He did the repair within the time specified.

JOHNSON'S APPLIANCE REPAIR CALLED TO CONFIRM APPOINTMENT AND WAS PROMPT. GENTLEMAN WAS COURTEOUS, THOROUGH AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE SPEND SEVERAL HOURS RESOLVING THE PROBLEM. HE ALSO LOOKED AT OTHER APPLIANCES AND GAVE ESTIMATES. I WOULD NOT HESITATE IN REFERRING THE GENTLEMAN AND PLAN ON UTILIZING HIS SERVICES IN THE FUTURE. HE COMPLETED REPAIRS TO OUR TOTAL SATISFACTION AND WE WERE NOT LEFT WITH A MESS TO CLEAN UP. HE FOLLOWED UP SEVERAL DAYS LATER TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. CUSTOMER SERVICE STILL EXISTS.

MR KELVIN JOHNSON, ARRIVES ON TIME FOR HIS APPOINTMENT,I HE WILL CALL IF RUNNING LATE AND GIVE APPROXIMATE ARRIVAL TIME. HE WILL ALSO CONFIRM APPT THAT MORNING PRIOR TO COMING. WHENEVER I CALL, HE RETURNS MY CALL WITHIN 2 TO 4 HOURS. VERY MUCH A GENTLEMAN AND POLITE MAN. HIS SERVICE CHARGE IS INCLUDED IN REPAIR. OVERALL A GREAT EXPERIENCE, WOULD MOST HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ONE AND ALL. HIS OVERALL PERSONALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM IS VERY SATISFYING AND CALMING TO MY SPIRIT.
