Jay's Pool Service J.P.S.

Jay discussed options for pool covers with us, pointing out the advantages/disadvantages. He then measured the pool, provided an estimate and installed the cover (and closed the pool while he was at it).

Jay and his crew came out the same day and started cleaning the pool of a load of rotten leaves/twigs etc. The started cleaning/treating the water and set up an automatic water cleaner to filter the water. As indicated by Jay it took 4-5 days for the water to get completely clean but on day 5 it was sparkling! Every day members of his crew showed up multiple times to clean the filters etc. On day 5 Jay gave us instructions on how to keep the pool clean/maintain it.
I was very happy with the service and will use him again in the future.

When we bought our house, Jay and his crew recovered our pool from being full of brown algae filled water with aluminum window frames, frogs and broken glass laying in the bottom of our vinyl lined pool.  Jay was up front and could not guarantee that he could save our liner, but was going to give it his best shot.  After several days of cleaning and down on his hands and knees making sure  all of the broken glass was removed, Jay saved our liner and has brought our pool and equipment back up to a very good operating system.  Jay and his crew have opened and winterized our pool for the last 4 years and has always been professional, timely, friendly, respectful and clean.  You won't even know that they were there except a clean open pool in the spring or a cover on the pool in the fall when you get home.

Showed up when he said he would with a team of three. Took about 6 hours, left his roaming cleaner for vinyl pool overnight and picked up the next day. After finished he sat down outside and went over everything they did and all info I needed to know, cost of service (had gone over that when we first met, but especially price of all pool chemicals and how far they would last into summer. He also said that when he would have to resupply chlorine tablets toward end of summer he would buy small container of tablets, enough to get through rest of summer. Very professional.

Jay's Pool Service did an efficient and good job.  The only problem was that they weren't always on time.  I would give them an "A-" overall.
