Burton was great.  He arrived on time and was immediately able to identify the problem.  He switched out the offending SSD boot drive that had died and installed a new one.  Unfortunately I couldn't find my Windows 10 recovery USB, but he was able to get it downloaded, installed, and set up on my custom PC.

Wonderful work done in a timely manner.

First let me say that when we moved to KC in June, one of our biggest concerns was finding someone who could work on our computer system and do nearly the great job we received in Long Beach. Our fears were well founded when we researched the Internet to locate someone to hook up our computer and got a person who had no idea what he was doing and kept calling an associate to see what to do (this was pre-Angie's List). So we called Burton Kelso. He has been here twice - always prompt, friendly, and professional. He answered all our questions, made suggestions for improvements, and provided the services we needed. We have our man for our computer issues!

I've used Burton's services for many years and he always knows how to
fix my technology issues. For my last service call, he setup a HP
Wireless printer to my home network. Not only was he able to connect my
printer to my computer, he was also able to make my iPad print to my
printer.

Burton was referred by a customer who is a friend of mine. I called on Friday for an appointment because our computer was sluggish and in need of a clean-up hoping he could also install a new Blue-Ray player with apps and scary instructions. A very helpful and friendly woman answered the phone, said that yes, he could install the Blue-Ray and made the appointment for Monday at 10:00, he called to say he would be a bit late, though the office assistant had already told me times are an hour window because he doesn't ever know what he will run into. He turned out to be about 45 min. late-well within the hour window but it was thoughtful that he called. He cleaned up the computer, made recommendations on computer backup on the cloud, installed the program and started the process of backing up. He then installed the Blue-Ray but was unable to complete the process because our wireless router didn't reach the TV room. He not only went to the computer store andpurchased the booster, but came back the next day and got everything working perfectly. This all took about 6 hours not including drive time, which was extensive, and only charged $220. He came back a month later when I called and walked me through the maize of set up after the electricity was off for a few seconds and put the system on a screen with instructions I had no idea what meant. No charge. And he does not talk 300 mph in geek speak. I clearly understood everything he said and could follow the directions perfectly. He patiently waited while I wrote down each step, then unplugged the whole system to be sure I could restart it. Yea! A geek with communication skills.

We called his answering service last evening and he returned our call and setup a visit for today to stop by our home. He fix our problems with the main home pc and then checked our 2 laptops for any problems. He noticed that we had not installed the wireless feature on any of our computers although it was available to us. He then installed that feature on all 3 in record time and made sure that the printer was functioning properly on all 3. Thanks so much for the great job!
