Google Fiber

If I could give them something worse than an F- I would. These people have lost the phone number that I have had for over 25 years and are no help in getting it back to me. I have called, e-mailed, and gone in on several occasions. I have even written the BBB and FCC. Hopefully, one of them will force them to get of their butts. After that, I guess I will have to go to the media. I will NEVER use this company again. Also, the internet speed is not be any better than the last company I had.

PAID SMALL DEPOSIT UPFRONT, THEN WAS NOTIFIED IT WOULD BE A MONTH OR SO BEFORE THEY INSTALLED OUR NEW SERVICE. ALMOST 3 MONTHS LATER THEY FINALLY DID

We are part of their original experiment with the Google internet so we don't even pay for it, it's free. It has been totally fine.

It took a bit to schedule a good time for the install, however they were very prompt and professional.

They started Google Fiber in Kansas City. Since we were the first city, you had to reserve service. It took them about 2 years before they started installing the lines. They started digging up all over the city. They don't let you know when they're coming out to install the lines to the side of your house. I was one of the first homes. They usually put the lines where the power lines - either on the pole or under ground. Since I didn't know when they came out, they put the line on the side of the house I didn't want it on. If I'd known, I'd have had it put on the other side. I contacted them and asked them to move it. They said ok, but they wouldn't repair where they put it. So I have a cable on the side of the home for a service I won't use because it is a crappy service. They're more concerned with getting people signed up than the service. I was going to replace my Time Warner service with them for cable and internet, but I haven't switched. When we first signed up for future service, we paid $10 to reserve service. It was based on the number of people who signed up. The customer service is terrible. When you call the support, they're really nice. But you can't get any one higher on the phone. They say they will get it taken care of or someone will call me, and they never do. I wouldn't use them unless they fix the problem.
