Great experience from the selection and help in choosing the stereo to the professional installation. Dealt with me on price and the installer showed my son how to use the stereo, set stations and how to use the blue tooth for phone service and music on his phone. Very impressed by installation- clean and professional. My son and I went to lunch and stopped at the Legends and everything installed when we got back. I would use them again without question.

Extreme Audio was excellent to deal with from beginning to end!  The owner was very friendly and professional already from the first phone call regarding price and availability of a Kenwood car stereo for our car,.  He explained every detail we would need to know about what was included with the stereo and how it would be installed.  The price was less than the other stores we checked, and he was able to get us in the next day so we would have the stereo in time for Christmas.  When arriving at the store we saw how clean and organized the showroom was, and immediately understood that if they care for their store this way, they would treat our car well, also.  After installation, they took the time to sit in the car with us and explain some features of the new stereo and help to connect our phone by Bluetooth.  We will recommend this place to everyone we know.

lyThey are actually open sooner than the 10 am they advertise. I got there around a quarter til 10. Left the keys and walked down to MacDonalds to wait. They told me an hour to 2 hours. It was ready in an hour and a half. The price was what they quoted me on the phone including tax. I tested the remote and everything worked perfectly.
Their showroom is as clean as their photos. The guys that did the work are very personable and knowledgeable. They were cheapest I found anywhere in the KC area.

Fantastic! I couldn't be happier. Frank told me what it would cost up from and stuck to his bid. The radio looks as though it came that way from the factory and all the factory installed components worked just like they did on the factory installed unit.

Found Hand H on Angie's List, sent an e-mail for a quote, and scheduled install. They knocked it out in 2 hrs.

Having an 03 vehicle, I didn't have the blue tooth and MP3 options of today's vehicle. Additionally, I had a Sirius subscription which required an additional tuner to be clipped to one of my vents. My goal was to encompass into one receive the blue tooth, satellite radio and IPOD player controls. I stopped by another audio shop and got a quote on all the components and with installation, it came to $809.40. But, the quote provided to me identified all the pieces I needed, so I took it home and researched on the internet by SKU # and brand and was able to purchase the radio, Sirius tuner, Sirius Interface and Steering wheel control at about 50% of what the radio store was going to charge. After receiving all the pieces, I reached out to various audio shops for installation fees and they average about $150. I went with Extreme Audio on a chance due mostly to their location to my home. The estimate provided was $150, but like all audio shops, they are quick to tell you it's only an estimate and they cannot confirm the actual amount until they open up the car. Positives - quick install. I dropped it off at 11:00 and it was ready at 12:30. Professional looking install - not ever having an after-market radio installed, I envisioned my new unit looking totally out of place or having new scratches/dents in my car altogether which is not the case. They took care of the vehicle and it appears they care about the final product too. Store - was very clean and orderly. Date of installation - I called on a Saturday and had it installed on the following Tuesday. Not so Positive - I knew I needed a few additional pieces to complete the install (such as bracket, etc.), but based on what was charged, I feel maybe Extreme Audio is a little over priced. My final bill came to $260 and again, that was with me providing everything but the kit and harness bracket (maybe $20 worth for kit, pigtail maybe $15 worth and based on the original quote from another competitor, another $20 for the harness). Therefore, one would assume the final bill would be about $200-215. The bill wasn't itemized to show what I paid for the harness and kit, but as mentioned, the competitor was $40 for both. In the end, I would probably use them again, but I'd be certain to ask for prices of additional components up front.
