The painting was done in a timely manner however WAY overpriced and actually sent a 13 year old to paint. Owner actually tried to overcharge us Job could have been done for half the price . Owner is extremely rude. Do not use

Mike came and did the estimate. He actually recommended that we not do some of the work we were considering as we are selling and he didn't feel we would get our money back. The workers themselves were considerate and cleaned up well before they left. The walls look great.

We would not use them again.

The job was done very professionally and in a timely manner.  Very pleased with the results and impressed with the professional and friendly manners of all involved.  The work crew was punctual and neat and everything was cleaned up at the end of the job.

Our experience with Crestwood Painting was fantastic! They weren't the cheapest bid we received, but you definitely get what you pay for with their services and they were still in the "affordable" range considering the scope of work we wanted done. They are very professional, hard working, great communicators, have an eye for detail, and really care about the satisfaction of their clients. We chose them after receiving multiple recommendations from neighbors in our area, their professionalism and fast response when we were gathering bids, and after reading all of the rave reviews we found online. 
When my husband and I bought our house we knew it needed some exterior repairs and paint. The deck and fence hadn't been very well maintained by previous owners and the exterior of the house had cracks, weather damage, and wood rot in several spots. Two sides of our house were covered in ivy that we had to have removed which caused paint damage and left behind tendril remains that had burrowed into the Stucco. Crestwood gave us a very thorough estimate that included cost and a very clear and complete list of services they would provide. We had a goal date in mind for when we wanted all of the work complete because we had family coming to stay from out of town.  They were great about getting us scheduled quickly and completing all work on schedule (even during the rainy season).   All repairs were made, cracks were sealed, house and deck were washed and prepped, windows were cared for and painted to match trim, and all non-painted surfaces were protected from drips and overspray. When they were finished they completely cleaned up everything and it was as if they were never there.  The project manager came to see us on the final day to walk around and make sure we were happy with their work.
Overall, we were extremely happy with all of the work completed by Crestwood. The house and deck turned out great! I would recommend them without hesitation and will use them again for any future painting projects.

The cost for the outside was $8000 and inside was $15000.  It was expensive.  They were very clean but they did not do quality control.  I had to point out a whole bunch of stuff that they should have fixed and then they came and did it.  The point is why they didn't figure out themselves because I had to point it out and that was not okay.  There was a kitchen appraisal and half the stuff they said they would do, they didn't.  I emailed them almost every night which was annoying that they came and did it and they did a good job with it.  The point is they don't do their own quality control.

The crew at Crestwood Painting was very professional.  They were punctual and cleaned up after themselves when the project was finished.  The rooms look fantastic!  Very happy with their work.  Highly recommended.

They're the only paint company that I work with since I won't risk my professional reputation! They do a great job, and are trustworthy. On time, they did a superior job.  The crews were professional and prompt.  The work took exactly as long as they said it would.  
I got their name from a friends recommendation and they were one of several bids.  We liked their total professionalism and knowledge.  I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

The team did a very thorough job of scraping and preparing the house for paint. They were punctual (early start each day) and hard working as well as being very pleasant and professional. I was most impressed when I had the final walk around to point out any small less than perfect areas,that everyone of these issues were addressed perfectly. I was also encouraged to call if there were any other things that I noticed later. The quality of work overall was very high. I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone.

Quality work. The new door wasn't in when they painted the house and they happily came back and after it was installed.  Also cleaned up some spots I found.  We also added some additional work that wasn't in the original scope and it was done at a fair price.

The job went very, very well. This was the third time we have used Mike Kelly and his crew and we could not be more pleased with the quality and professionalism of all of them. Since his first job for us, I estimate he has worked for at 5 of my neighbors!

I had three estimates for painting and I used them, and they were excellent people.  I thought the people that came out were great.  They were personable and very easy to work around.  I would hire them again and also recommend them.

Everyone at Crestwood Painting was a pleasure to work with. Jim came by my house for the initial bid and came out a second time to evaluate some comments from another painter, and was able to suggest a better (and cheaper) solution. His bid was right in line with my expectation (perhaps a bit under), and communication was great throughout. Jim even suggested a contractor for a couple small interior construction projects, which has worked out great.
The team was prompt, courteous, professional, and clean. Aside from a couple closets, they painted every interior wall in my home. They were very flexible throughout the process, as I changed the color on a few walls after I didn't like the look of what I had initially chosen. They were very fair in pricing the additional work.
Everyone was very attentive to detail and made sure the finish was excellent. Jim, especially, picked out many areas for touch up that I would have accepted as-is, so I felt very comfortable pointing out even the smallest of details. It's clear that their goal is to get it right.
As a normal DIY'er that actually enjoys painting, I am very pleased that I chose Crestwood Painting and would absolutely recommend them. I am planning to have them back in the spring to bid the exterior of my home.

We had a great experience with Crestwood Painting. I was impressed with the reviews on Angie's List, and by the amount of educational information on Crestwood's website. Everyone we worked with was extremely knowledgeable and professional, from the estimator to the owner and the whole crew. Our bid was reasonable compared to other bids we received.
Crestwood did everything they said they would, and our house turned out extremely beautifully. Our home is 100 years old, and Crestwood knows how to work very well with older homes. The crew had great attention to detail - caulking and filling holes, making sure everything was cleaned up daily, and doing small extras like painting a metal railing and our rose trellises. They were all very pleasant and friendly. My neighbor made a point to come over and mention what a great job they were doing - that he'd been watching them work all week.

We were VERY pleased.   We had several bids, and we felt that this one was very fair.   And that Jim "understood" our house and our neighborhood.  In addition - Jim and his crew were willing to work with our architect friends who had designed a color scheme for the house that we liked.   The crew was always professional and polite.   Whenever I had a question, I could ask the crew chief or email Crestwood and I'd have an answer back within the day.    We would highly recommend Crestwood.

Everything was great.  Joe and his crew were prompt, friendly, hardworking and capable.  When they first came, they pointed out a storm window that was cracked and asked if we'd like to have them get it fixed - that's just one example of them going the extra mile.  They worked with our schedule and left our house looking terrific.  When everything was done, Joe did a final inspection with us in case there was anything not done to our satisfaction, and even told us to be sure to call if we noticed anything later.  We would definitely call them again.

The owner Mike came over on time for our first meeting to give us a quote for the job.  He was very pleasant and took time to explain
the process that would take place and the timeline we could expect ( scraping,primeing and painting) he even told us that no one would ever need to come into our house because he would make arrangements for a portable potty.  We ran into weather conditions that slowed down the process but eack time Mike called us to keep us up dated on when we could expect the crew and even on days that rain occured the painters would show up as soon as the rain stopped.  The crew introduced them selves and felt like family by the time the job was complete.  I even thru in a day of delay when I had doubts about the  color selection we had made. Mike just told the crew to paint a large section of the house and let us think about it overnight!  I never felt any preasure to come to any quick decision. When the job was complete all trash was bagged up and things put back in place  There were no signs that a paint crew was ever there just a beautiful newly painted house.   My husband and I are very detail orientated people and  I would not hesitate to recommend Crestwood Painting.  Thanks to Mike and his crew we have fallen in love with our house all over again!

Jim O'Brien came to estimate the job.  He was personable and professional, listened to what we wanted done, made recommendations, and outlined what they would do.   We had 2 other estimates: one didn't talk to us at all, and the second wanted to use inferior paint for a higher price.  Jim recommended a website that listed questions we should ask when we got estimates.
The paint crew was prompt, friendly, and professional.  They answered our questions and sought our input on details that weren't clear in the estimate.  The crew cleaned up each day and stored paint and equipment out of sight.  They used the top-rated paint from the most recent Consumer's Reports and the results are most impressive. 
Jim came back to walk us through the job to make sure no small details were left undone.  I would recommend Crestwood Painting to anyone who wants a quality paint job at a reasonable price. 

Mike and his crew are great to work with.  Mike is communicative and goes out of his way to make sure the customer understands and is comfortable with the process.  The painters were prompt, courteous and answered our questions.  They applied a wonderful 4-color paint scheme to our home and it looks awesome.

My house is a large two story and 100 years old. It had not been painted for 20 years or more and the exterior surfaces were in poor shape. A competing painting company declined the job with concerns that it couldn't be done reliably. Another company bid far too low to make me feel comfortable that they really knew what they were up against. Siding companies wanted three times the price I paid and would have to had remove structural parts like brick molding, drip lines not found in newer homes. The house is in Brookside which is Crestwood's market, and I felt confidence in their experience in painting 100 year homes, and occasionally one in poor condition as mine was. Crestwood's bid was considerably higher but closer to what I expected for large old house with poor exterior condition. But I actually thought it would be four to five thousand more and was prepared to pay it. The job was done in 6 business days. It looks beautiful. Crestwood was responsive to do minor touch ups after completion promptly. The before and after pictures tell it all. I had no doubt in their ability in this project.

Very professional company-offered assistance with choosing colors, and frequent communication regarding project.  The painters were personable, polite, and very respectful of our property.  They did a meticulous paint job as well as clean up.  I would absolutely recommend this company to do any painting project!
