The entire process went extremely well. Initially, Scott came over and did a bid on the property. Throughout this process, he explained that he didn't use a crew because it was difficult to stand for other peoples' work. A few days later, he emailed me my bid, which came in about a thousand dollars less than some other bids I'd gotten. I could have probably gotten a cheaper bid by going to someone who used a large cheap-labor crew, but ultimately I felt extremely comfortable with Scott and when someone is coming in and out of your house, that's important. Scott started about two weeks after the bid and took two and a half to three weeks to finish the house. It would have been a bit shorter, but it rained several days, preventing progress. Scott did an excellent job on both the trim and the body of the house and the windows look incredible. Complete trust and a job well done...it would be hard for me to ask for more.
