Extremely satisfied with work and results. I really liked how transparent Bob was with work order...very easy to see what I was paying for. I wanted the project to be completed in 2 weeks...they finished in 8 days. Very happy with that. Also everyone on their team was very professional. Communication was super easy...they always responded to text or call. And they left area super clean. I recommended.

Bob was referred to us by Vickie Stewart Interiors (whom we had known and used for many years). His company did a partial remodel on a family members' home earlier and we were impressed with the work. He started with the basement, adding support, insulation, exterior foundation repair and has done the entire house throughout including a total kitchen remodel, a room addition and remodeled baths and added a fourth. He moved walls, replaced all windows, and refinished the floors.  Coulston also did exterior work: repairing foundation cracks, replacing siding, building entire new porches at all exits. Bob asked that we have weekly meetings with him and his project foreman where work done and upcoming were reviewed and an updated budget provide.  At that meeting all questions were answered and solutions were designed and implemented. As an example, new bay/casement windows were much heavier than original creating an issue based on how the original bay was installed but they quickly offered smart solutions that prevented thousands of dollars being spent.  There is likely much more that Coulston Construction did for us on the job that we are not even aware of.  Their attention to detail and quality control was so impressive....much more than expected.
Coulston has developed his own estimating software tool after many years in business and keeps tight control of the budget always with the owners desires in mind, but helpful in how to make trade-offs and keep costs in line. 
While this was our first whole house remodel we had worked with remodelers before and have never dealt with this level of professionalism:  the value and quality delivered exceeded all expectations.  The project will be completed by the end of January and the move-in will begin.  We will use Coulston Construction for any future needs that will arise, in fact, working with them is so wonderful you WANT to think of another project!  They are an excellent company with an impressive array of professionals on their team.  We highly recommend you let Coulson Construction bid on your job.
