The quality of the cleaning was just ok. I found lots of overlooked areas and sloppy work. She did clean what she said she would, but it was sloppily done. For example, I was expecting the blinds to be dust free and totally clean. She only dusted them and left stains and spots. If I were cleaning, I would have taken a wet rag or windex and scrubbed off anything left after dusting.

Cleaner was right on time, and worked diligently through the morning. But...I was told she would clean the floors by hand (not mop), and she did not clean most of the floors that way. There are still 'spots' that would be gone if she'd scrubbed the floors; instead, she simply mopped. I don't know if she used any cleaning solution or not, but when I mopped up some spilled water a couple of days later the paper towel was black. This was their first cleaning, and I expected that the manager/owner would follow-up with a phone call, but that hasn't happened.

I've been using their services off and on for 5 years. They're always on time and their prices are reasonable.

They were on time, did a good job cleaning, and I was satisfied with their services. Their price was reasonable and they got the job done quicker than what they said. Overall, the experience was good.

I was referred to Cottage Care's services through our house keeper. Talking with them over the phone I setup an appointment to have them out so they could look things over and give me pricing on the services. The gentlemen showed up right on time to the appointment and following a walk through of the project, and a bit of explanation he gave me pricing to complete the work. The pricing seemed about right on for what i'd been expecting and I felt confident in their service. Accepting the project he immediately began going to work. After about 2 hrs or so he was complete with all the areas and after looking things over I was very happy to find the carpets were much cleaner than expected! I would definitely recommend their services to friends!

We've been using their services for over a year and have always been satisfied. They send a different woman or women each time so their level of quality varies just slightly, but they are always fast and professional. The only thing they won't do is dust around a huge amount of knick knacks or deep scrub a super dirty area without prior notice, but it's always been a more than satisfactory service overall. We've even started using their other carpet cleaning service and it's been wonderful - especially with 3 dogs.

The cleaning lady arrived on time and went right to work. She dusted and vaccumed and mopped the stone and wood floors. Overall she did a good job, but she missed dusting some things like the chair rail and a table in the living room and the china cabinet in the dining room. She did clean inside the microwave in the kitchen which I hadn't expected. I cleaned the bedrooms and bathrooms and washed the windows. It took her about two hours to do the cleaning. I thought the price was high for the work that was done.

She showed on time and worked hard for about six hours. I was amazed at how much she got done.

I was pleased overall with this company. There was no "wow" factor but I don't know if that was possible given the state of the bathrooms. She was pleasant to my dad and even cleaned off his dresser.

It was a disaster. I checked on the house, and the carpets were not vacuumed, they did not wipe down the shelves, neglected to sweep the basement floor, and it goes on and on. I tried my best to make it idiot-proof, but the idiots get dumber each year. I had an explicit set of instructions of what to clean, yet it was ignored. I made a list of exactly what I wanted cleaned, step by step. I wanted the house to be cleaned perfectly for the new owners, and stressed that money was no object. I told them on numerous occasions that I do not care what it costs, I want the house cleaned immaculately from top to bottom. How could you not vacuum the carpets???? The shelves were full of dust, and it was obvious the cleaners were in a hurry to get out and suspected no one would check behind them. I called the manager and told her of my disappointment. She gave me a slight discount, and offered to come back, but I was on my way out of state. Too late. Poor, poor oversight, and if the maids worked for me they would be fired. There is no excuse for this. I was very, very clear on my expectations. They failed miserably.

They were very respectful and they showed up on time. They were very thorough. I plan to continue using them in the future.

The experience was very positive. They were very fast and thorough. They were also professional. We were satisfied with their service.

The service is excellent. They always show up when they are supposed to, they are very dependable and do a great job. They always listen to the things I need done and get it done. They are flexible with certain things I want done on only certain visits, they really customize the job.

Overall, Cottage Care did an average job of cleaning our home and you could certainly find worse companies. My overall feeling on their service is neutral. They did some really nice things like clean out the wooden blinds in the bathroom, but didn't do other - seemingly obvious things to me - like dust the ceiling fans. So, coming home was a mixed feeling of "wow, this is clean... well sorta." The things that were cleaned, were done very well. For example, they vacuumed our large basement couch which is constantly filled with crumbs from our kids. It looked awesome when they were done with it. However, other things seemed to have maybe a cursory swipe at them. Overall, the value didn't add up for me. I certainly believe that I could have asked cottage care to do additional, specific items, but the cost would have been even higher which would have been unacceptable. That said, my local Cottage Care office was extremely professional and polite. There was a slight mix up causing me to not pay Cottage Care for their services in a timely manner. It was entirely my fault, but Cottage Care was much nicer to me than I would have been to someone who owed me money. Ultimately, if the price of Cottage care were lower, I would use them again. They do a respectable job and are a good company.

Generally a satisfactory experience. Housecleaners are very friendly and prompt. Management responsive and very concerned about my satisfaction. I think I used this company about 3 times. Two of those times I had to call them back out because the floors were left undone (and on one occasion, a bathroom shower). They were very good to get someone out the next day to fix the problem, but it was frustrating to have the omission in the first place. I would use them again, but probably not for any serious cleaning or anything other than general cleaning.

They were prompt, thorough, and professional.

I have signed up for their bi-weekly cleaning service. They were very responsive and thorough. I like I will have the same person coming to my home and feel I can trust her. I would recommend them to anyone needing housecleaning services. If she missed something the first time, I pointed it out and the second time it was cleaned.

They did a dry carpet cleaning treatment, which they said was safe for pets and children, so that was re-assuring. The stains they took out still have not come back. They were here for a long time, but they worked hard and paid close attention to what they were doing, so that way the job was done right.

Good, she was here from 9:30 - 2:00. I feel I got more than my money's worth.

The person that was doing the cleaning I really liked the way that she cleaned. The company wanted to send a new cleaner that was closer to me but I really did not want that.
