First, I would like to say this is the very first time I have written a review on anyone, however I feel that if I can save just one person from all the headaches I have experienced from dealing with this company/person (Joey Falzone) it is worth the extra time. To start off, Joey replaced my driveway late August, 2013. Long story short, by the end of January, my driveway had cracks in many places. I called Joey to explain to him my concerns and get some advice only to be told (very sarcastically, I might add) "Well, that's what happens, and people need to understand that concrete does crack in time," I went on to tell him that while I don't know a lot about concrete, I know enough to know it should not be cracking like it was after 5 months and that he was acting very nonchalant about the whole thing. His response "Well, I am nonchalant, because no one can guarantee concrete." I explained to Joey, that even if you can't "guarantee" concrete, you should at least stand behind your work. I continued to get the "I don't care" attitude and just hung up. My father, who helped oversee the project called him and got a more respectful response of course (I guess if I were a man, I would have been treated a little better) and he agreed to come out the first of spring. When he came out in May, not only were there cracks, I now had holes all over the driveway! Joey was quick to tell me that the holes must have come from me dragging all the salt that was on the streets this winter into the driveway as I drove my car in (Unbelievable!). He then went on to tell me anything I used to help melt the snow was at fault as well, I in turn had to remind him that even if this was true, only one side of the driveway is used and shoveled during the winter since I'm a one car household. If this was the case, the whole entire driveway, both sides, would not be cracked with holes in it! Since then, I have had many friends and co-workers who know people in the concrete business to come out to inspect my driveway, and ALL agreed that the work was simply poorly done with bad material which is his responsibility to know about! Since then he has come to my home to "fix" the problem which ended up being him going around the driveway slapping the holes with some kind of mixture so when it dried, it made the problem even worse. When this was pointed out he claimed "This problem is your fault anyway!" I could go on and on about this person (Joey Falzone), but I think I would end up writing a short book. Long story short, DO NOT EVER DO BUISNESS with this company/person. Save yourself the time and money and find someone who will stand behind their work!
