Chimneys And More

I hired Charles (“Charlie”) R. Ford of Chimneys and More and a partner Brian Snelling, Contractual Concepts to do exterior, interior and minor foundation work at my home. I paid  ½ down on the contract. I signed the contract on 2/3/13 and terminated the contract on 3/26/13 (read to end to know why). Every day was a struggle with them either not showing up on time or not showing up AT ALL (and you wouldn't believe the excuses) but I tried to hang in there since I had already paid them so much. The interior work I was told would only take a couple of days --- and it lasted more than 3 weeks. I finally had to stay home to supervise and direct what tasks needed to be done in order to get any work done. The little bit of work that was done was horrible … to the point I have hired someone else to do repair his work. Even with the large amount of down payment I was asked several times for more money. I personally purchased a door to be installed and it was taken by this contractor. Other supplies that were needed for the job were also removed with different reasons given. I finally fired them when I found drug paraphernalia in my home (which was obviously what was being done when I wasn’t around to supervise.
