The pricing I got for the AC job from other providers was closer to $2000. They did a very good job.

I needed to get my car safety inspected to renew my car tags. My regular auto shop is across the state line,

so they do not do my state's inspections. They told me I needed new tires, but I have been putting it off as I am looking for a new car.

I choised them as they sold tires,besides doing inspections.When I called they did not tell me their time that they did them, but to bring it on in.I explained that I may need new tires, but I would prefer not to. They were able to pass it, and not sell me new tires.

I had previously bought the fan assembly and took it to them to have it installed -- a lot of places won't do this (they will only install it if you buy the part from them), so to me this was a big bonus. I did have to wave any warranty on the work, but this was made clear to me up front and I had no problem doing so under the circumstances. It was done very quickly (approx. 30 minutes), and the fan works perfectly. They also informed me I would need to have the a/c system evacuated and recharged. I have since done so, and everything is working great.

Calvert's provided a good interim fix on an old auto for a problem that my regular repair shop wanted to charge over $500. Rick at Calverts advdised that they could replace the pan for about the same price as the other shop. However, he understood I didn't want to invest that amount of money in the car and he offered an alternative. He noted the alternative they provided was not a permanent solution, but on a vehicle with nearly 200,000 miles the solution should last for nearly a year, and it could then be redone for another year at about the same cost if I wanted.

Had to actually bring it back a couple times to get the job done correctly, but they didn't charge me after the initial time. They were courteous and professional.

My car is 12 years old and they have kept her running. I can usually get in pretty quickly and their prices are pretty reasonable. I've never had them come up and pull a surprise on me that something more expensive needs to be done.

Muffler and steering damper installation was fine. However, I experienced noise in the exhaust after muffler installation. I was told it was a broken bolt holding my exhaust system. A month later, I experienced a loss of power due to back pressure...the noise, and the problem, was due to a bad catyletic converter. I had to take the car in 3 times to have the rear axel seals done after they continued to fail. Granted, my car is a jeep, which is a little tricky. In the end, they got it right. The last time I was in, the tech was kicking my rear axel shaft around on the dirty garage floor, I would think they would take a little better care of their customers parts...who wants dirt from the garage floor floating around in the rear axel?

Appointment went off without a hitch. They did not try to add a bunch of extras to the service. In fact, a bulb was out (that would have prevented passing inspection) and they told my son to get one from auto parts store next door and change it so they wouldn't have to charge for that.

I have been here in the past (and when it was Heart). They got me in quickly, gave me a ride home and called when the work was done. Only glitch was that they forgot I was waiting there for the estimate, so there was some delay up front.

This is the old Heart automotive that has unfortunately gone out of business. This is the first time I've used them under the Express brand, but I was happy this time, so I'll be back. Some of the same folks are there. They got me in at MY convenience, gave me a ride home when it became apparent that it was going to take longer than an hour, held the car for a couple of days while I was out of town, and stayed open late when I was on my way to pick the car up close to closing time. I've had work done by these folks before and I'll be back.
