My experience with Cabinet Giant went exactly as I had hoped.  I was very hesitate to order cabinets online but, after shopping around quite a bit, realized the price/value would be too high to do it any other way.  I ordered the cabinets late on a Wednesday night and they were delivered to my place in (somewhat remote) NH by the following Friday.  Despite being handled by 3 different carriers (and weighing close to 700 lbs) everything arrived in perfect condition.  The interior of the boxes are packed very well with lots of layers of foam wrap to keep the finished pieces from being scratched.  At a couple points during the order process, I had questions and was able to easily reach Cabinet Giant by both phone and email.  Overall it was a top-notch experience (and the cabinets look great!).
Couple words of advice:  1) Make sure you look around for discount coupons before placing your order.  There always seem to be a variety of specials on the different lines they offer.  2) Make sure you're comfortable with the RTA nature of buying online.  The cabinets are not necessarily difficult to put together but I found the directions lacking when it comes to screw placement.  Each time I started a new cabinet type (base vs wall vs corner unit), it would take me a solid 15-20 minutes to figure out exactly how they wanted everything to go together before I could even start assembling.  The process definitely gets easier after the first one and the cabinet line I chose had all metal clip construction which felt very solid but is time-consuming to build. I have a feeling the higher-end lines with cam locks would assemble quicker. (note: this item generally applies to all RTA cabinets and is not meant as a criticism of this retailer, I would definitely buy from them again)
