This was such an unfortunate experience. I had a raccoon living in my chimney, and all I needed was for them to come put a one-way door on the top so it could get out but not get back in. It seemed like a simple enough task, but the guy who came out was very open about being unsure of what to do. He ended up taking out the fireplace insert in my basement, looking in there, and confirming that there was a raccoon. After he confirmed it was in there, he for some reason decided to walk away and work on the roof with both the fireplace on my first floor and in my basement wide open. Assuming that he was a professional and knew what he was doing, I didn’t question him (I thought he probably plugged it higher up). Of course, this meant that the raccoon just came into the house. I was sitting at my dining room table when I heard tip-tap sounds on the kitchen floor. When I turned around, I saw the raccoon two feet behind me. I ran out the front door and got the guy. When the guy came in, he said he couldn’t find the raccoon and that it “probably” went back up the chimney. At this point, my kitchen was a huge mess; the raccoon had stepped in its poop and left black poop footprints all over the kitchen and counters. It even urinated in my cookie tray on my stove top. It took hours to clean and disinfect the kitchen, and I had to throw away my dinner, which I was marinating on the counter. The raccoon also walked across brand new carpeting that I had just gotten installed in my basement; the whole purpose of getting new carpeting was to have a safe/clean place for my baby to crawl, and now I have to worry about contamination from roundworm. Anyway, this story gets crazier and crazier, and I’ll spare you all the details, but the shorter version is that we discovered in the middle of the night when it sounded like someone was breaking in that the raccoon was still loose in our house. I called the guy back out, and still he “couldn’t find it” and insisted that “if” it was in the house, that there would be more of a mess (more than just the raccoon poop that mysteriously ended up on our floor). Eventually, after several returns to my house, they were able to find the raccoon hiding in the rafters in a room I used as a gym in my basement (which I now can’t use as a gym because I worry about aerosolized roundworm from poop in the rafters far enough back that we can’t clean it out). After *48* full hours of the raccoon being loose in my house, endangering the life of my small dog and 7-month-old baby, it was finally removed. All they had to say about it was that “sometimes things go south,” which is remarkable given that they literally opened the door to let the raccoon in and then left the fireplace door unattended while it was open for over an hour. It was an extremely dangerous and awful experience due entirely to their negligence. And charging $700 after all that seems simply absurd given that they endangered my family, ruined my new carpeting, and rendered my gym unusable for the foreseeable future.

Mike was able to come out right away to take care of a bat that had gotten trapped in our fireplace. I’m so grateful he was able to take care of it quickly! He was professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend him!

We discovered that we had bats in our soffit. After doing some research, I contacted Buggs and spoke with Mike. He answered his phone on the first call and was at my house within an hour. He inspected our house to find the opening and also to confirm we didn't have any other openings. He was very thorough in the inspection, even checking our attic. He caulked part of the opening and installed a one way trap (they could get out but not back in). The bats were gone within a day but he left the one way trap installed for a few days to make sure. He showed up a few days later, remove the trap and caulked the remainder of the area. No bats were harmed.

Had a couple of raccoons who thought they would set up a nice home in my attic. I'm sure they were comfy up there, but I wasn't. Mike was great. He actually answered the phone, which was his first mark in his favor, since four other places I called did not (and never even returned the call). He was out the next day to screen off the opening in the attic and install a one way door out for them. They haven't been back and have hopefully moved on to greener pastures. Mike was prompt, courteous, professional, and got the job done for a good price. I would use him again in a second.

Although we saw no bats when he inspected, I was concerned that we might be sealing them into the house. He said that they had a small body mass and would not smell. His price was much more reasonable than another company. I don't know if the other company would have closed the holes with something other than grout or not. So far, no more bats!

Since I have an irrational fear of mice, I was so grateful to find Mike available on a Saturday. He arrived promptly and was very thorough, professional, knowledgeable, & understanding. Hope to not need his services often, but will definitely call him if we do.

I had a bat enter my bedroom at 3 in the morning. I left a message with Mike at 3:30 on a Saturday. He returned my call at 6:45 and was here by 8. He found the bat, which I had closed in the room, and removed it humanely. Prompt, pleasant service!

I called Mike and he was at my house within an hour. He thoroughly explained the complete process and in seconds found the entry point and set the trap. Mike came back the next morning and said "We got him". He reset the trap and again the next morning was here. There was nothing in the trap but I told him I was still hearing things in the attic. He left the trap in place and said to call him if I saw anything. On a Sunday night at 8:00pm the trap went off and I called Mike. Once again, he was here within the hour. He left the trap in place to make sure they were gone and I never heard anything else. When he came back to get the trap after several days he fixed the point of entry as promised. Thank You So Much for a job well done. Do not hesitate to use this company, Mike is one of the best.

It was an excellent experience.  Mike is very professional, easy going and thorough.  He explained the entire process on the phone, and even came out on a Sunday to inspect and set the traps.  At our house, he explained the process again and quickly and efficiently set the traps.  He answered all of our questions and when he was done, he sealed up the hole as promised.  We were fortunate in that we had only two squirrels to be removed, so the process was relatively quick.
I would not hesitate to refer Mike to anyone.  His initial fee of $125 (inspect, set traps and seal the entry point) was cheaper than two other companies I contacted, and the $65 per squirrel fee was the same.
Excellent service.  Great job, Mike.

At approximately 2am, I called Mike's number on the website  leaving a message about a callback for capturing a loose bat flying around the bedroom.   Mike returned my call immediately and was at my door shortly after 3am even though emergency service wasn't expected (or advertised).
Once he arrived, he had to search for the bat (now no longer flying around), captured it , searched the attic & rest of the house for the entry point and/or infestation determining that the bat came in through my chimney because my flue was partially opened.
Since I was there, I asked him about looking into a mouse infestation that I've had in my unfinished basement.  Since he had all the supplies on hand, he offered to take care of it right then.   He thoroughly investigated the entire basement,  set out baits  to eliminate them and said to let him know if that didn't take care of it.
Mike was professional, knowledgeable, and  provided excellent service in calling back so quickly and offering to immediately come over.  The $295 represents both the bat and mice services.

Mike was very responsive. He was able to come out within a couple of days. He checked the entire house and baited where necessary. Within 2 days all evidence of mice was gone and we haven't heard or seen any evidence since.

We called and he came out within an hour and a half. He's very quick. We were just getting ready to go on vacation and we were leaving our cats in the house and we didn't want a bat that could attack our cats while we're gone. They're just flying all over the place and it hid when he was there but he went around and closed all the places on the outside of our house and even some places on the inside too where we thought that bat would get in. He sealed every place a bat could get in. He was very knowledgeable and told us in the future what to do about that, how they get in and what to look for when we have it. He's very nice. The thing that really impressed me was how quickly he came out because we were desperate. We didn't want to leave that bat in the house while we were on vacation. We just felt really good about his service. We will use him for any kind of wildlife problems.

We had an animal inside house, and called to see if we had an infestation. Inspector came promptly and determine ether was not a problem, but pointed out some potential problems with roof.  We were very happy with the inspection and the advice he gave us.

Roof is steep and construction of attic made this a very difficult job.  Screen had to be replaced in sections.  Job was much harder than contractor had anticipated when he gave me an estimate over the phone.  Contractor did a great job and was very pleasant to work with.
