Binswanger Glass Kansas City

We needed to replace some single pane glass in our home.The problem was that the windows were a very unusual shape. So we drew a pattern of each piece needed. Another window glass business had cut the first piece. The edges were jagged which made it difficult to install the glass. Also, they had not cut the glass exactly to the pattern. It was close enough. We called around and found Binswanger glass off of Barry road. They could do the job but it would take more time than the first place. But, we had some time, so we gave them a try. I am so glad that we did!
Binswanger cut the remaining pieces. It sure made a difference at installation. They did an excellent job. No jagged edges. The glass was cut exactly to the pattern. I could not have imagined that someone could cut such a smooth curved piece of glass exactly to shape. Our windows look beautiful and they are now ready for winter. Thank you for your excellent work.

They were very flexible with scheduling and was so accommodating with the timelines for removing the mirrors and Turing them back. One mirror was uneven and I had to call them back to fix. They were very nice and I appreciated their customer service approach. This was a very positive experience.

Windshield cracked during return trip from vacation. Installer was out the next day after I called. He really knew what he was doing and was very professional. I visited with him while he did the repair and he explained what he was doing and why. That made me feel better about how well the new windshield would hold up. I would recommend Binswanger, although I had never heard of them before. My insurance agent recommended them and another company. I decided to try Binswanger and am glad I did.

We called inquiring about fixing a rock chip in the windshield before it started cracking/spreading further. They got us right in (appointment the next morning) and promptly fixed the chip and there were no hidden charges. Reasonable price and good quality work. Would recommend them to others.

Window was a struggle to get out because of age. Repairmen worked it out and replace in fair amount of time. He was very professional. As far as price I don't have anything to compare it to. That is the reason for the B on price.

They did a great job in fixing the window for a double pain window. Unfortunately they do not do the Sash or the side of the window. We are working on getting someone for that

They gave a quote within a few days of my call. Communicated well when scheduling installation, which had to be changed because of bad weather. Installation and clean up were good.

Two days after the installation I walked out to my car to find the back seat soaked. The glass was not sealed properly, and leaked badly. They were quick to repair it, and the new seal seems to work okay, which is why I gave them a C overall. A few days after that, I received a call from State Farm (who actually paid for the service) asking if I was satisfied. I told them what happened, and they said that the glass that was used in my truck was not "approved" by the manufacturer. Obviously this was frustrating to hear, so I took it to another glass specialist to have it inspected. They stated that the glass should be fine, but they probably shouldn't have used it. I won't be going back.

It took about a week to arrange schedules, but they got out to the house and replaced 9 broken or cracked windows. We are happy with the results. We have used this company a few other times with good results.

I called them and told them what I wanted and the man was out the next day to measure. The windows were put in in 10 days and I'm VERY satisfied.

While on vacation our windshield got chipped. I scheduled an appointment for the repair with Binswanger. Jerry was very professional and efficient. He explained in detail the actual repair and how it affected the glass. He even recommended that in the future I should protect the chip damage with tape and bring the car in as soon as possible so that the repair could hardly be noticed. I am very happy with the repair result, the quick repair time and the result.
