BASEMENT MAGIC INC

Basement Magic performed the work that they promised in a satisfactory manner, but in the end I am not impressed with this company. They tried to sell us on a much more expensive sealing/sump pump setup without even discussing the underlying grade problems outside the house that were causing the basement seepage. Their workers had little or no adult supervision, and they left empty beer cans outside our house. No one from company management has followed up with us about our satisfaction with the work.

They took about eight weeks to complete the job. We really liked the product and the end result looks great. We had some problems with them though. They had a subcontractor and from the first day he showed up, he started complaining about not making any money because of the low prices we were paying for this job. They took longer than they had originally said also. There was also a little area that was not finished smoothly and we asked them to take care of that. It was very difficult to get them back out here. They did finally come out and repaired the drywall, but they have so far not agreed to come back and sand it down and paint it, so my husband did that. So, the finishing touches were not very satisfactory.
