BALLARD HOME IMPROVEMENT

A water leak behind my master bedroom bathroom shower ruined the floor boards under the iron tub and other areas of the bathroom. Bill Ballard conducted a thorough inspection of the damage and submitted a written estimate of repairs. Working with Bill Ballard was a pleasure. He took his time to explain everything that needed to be done and provided many solutions to fit my budget. The bathroom was completed in a timely and professional manner. I was given regular updates and additional options during the work process. Bill was very responsive to my calls and emails. He has extensive knowledge and experience that he uses to make sure the quality of the work meets his high standards. The bathroom looks and works great!

Bill Ballard acted as general contractor and oversaw all aspects of the rehab on a raised ranch home from foundation work and grading the yard, to inspecting chinmeys and septic systems, replacing the guttering, gutting the basement, repaing the decks, replacing interior flooring, trouble-shooting and re-wiring existing shoddy electrical work, trouble shooting and repalcing the existing shoddy plumbing, and remodeling the first floor including replacing appliances and installing a propane cook top in the kitchen.  Mr. Ballard was an excellent general contrator and when one sub-contractor failed to meet Mr. Ballards standards, he was able to replace that contractor with another who did the did job as specified for less money that the first sub contractor had agreed to.  He was able to see to it that all work was completed to specifications in a timely and efficient mannner.  Bill is a personable guy and conducted himself in a friendly and professional manner.  The customer service provided was top-notch.  Not only did he personally deliver a written warranty on his work (in a basket with a bottle of wine, chocolate, and mixed nuts), he repaired the track on a sliding glass door that I had damaged after the rehab was completed.  As if that isn't enough, I had walked him out to his truck as he was leaving when my daughter came to the door to complain that there was bug bothering her.  Bill came back in and disposed of the offending mud dauber for her before he left! 

BHI is awesome and I will hire them again the next time I need work done.

They did an excellent job.  Bill and his crew were prompt and professional.  We could not have asked for a better bunch of guys.

I would tell my friends and family members in need about them, they are pretty good. I think their price is reasonable, and they do a good job.

I called his office four times before actually making contact with his office asst. We set an appt. and Bill did not show up for the Friday afternoon appt. He called me on Monday and explained he realized he failed to show up. I had decided NOT to use Bill's services after the given attempts and previous issues with other unrelated contractors. Bill apology seemed sincere so we set a new date. From that point forward every aspect of his performance was great! Bill Ballard came out to gather info to prepare an esitmate. He measured the door and determined I had the wrong size door ordered. While in my home, well before I commited to his services, he helped me contact Home Depot and correct my order. He described in detail what I could expect of him and what I would need to do to the primered door to get it ready for installation. He installed the door and explained Don would return to complete the installation and trim work after I had a chance to paint the door. A time and date was set for Don to return. Don showed up on time and completed the installation. The finished product looks great. While Bill was on site he also provided quotes on other remodeling projects and later sent me an email with some recommended companies for patio and roofing needs. We have been pleasantly pleased with the services provided by Bill's personal references.
