Transferred data and set up new computer without any problems whatsoever.

Did a very good job - couldn't fix the laptop, but had the diagnostics complete within 24 hours. Very nice.

I had excellent service. They didn't talk down to me but made it easy for me to understand what was going on with the laptop. I didn't like the price BUT that was my issue. They were more than inline with what others would charge. I don't like the idea of going to a Big Box store to have work done. I like using the local guy and I great customer service. I will definitely keep their number handy.

I started having issues with my laptop. I took my Dell to them and they got it back to me in 24 hours. I paid for express service. it was worth it. Can't live with out the silly thing for business.
Would not take my computer any place else.

I needed a new desktop computer, printer, monitor, wi-fi and updated software for personal use at my home. I did not want to do the set-up and installation myself. After going to a larger dealer who was not willing to do any set-up and installation, I visited with BE Tek. They were willing to sell me what I needed and bring it to my home for the set-up and installation. I had taken the old computer into their shop earlier for them to transfer my old records including email. They had given me some ideas for purchasing the updated software and printer that I needed and I purchased these at other stores for BE Tek to install at my home. All of this was done in a timely manner and explained to me as the set-up progressed. Kent (the technician) answered some questions I had at the time and encouraged me to call him if anything unexpected came up later. It is now five months later and I've had no problems at all. I was very satisfied with the entire transaction.

They seemed very busy but took the time to listen and address my concerns. They offered to carry my computer to and from my car and gave me loads of free advice.

My partner's laptop was dying, and we wanted to either get the laptop fixed or get the data backed up if possible. The technician determined that the problem was with the motherboard, and getting a new motherboard would cost more than getting a new laptop. The technician said that they would be able to save the files from the hard drive and put them on an external hard drive, so that's what I opted to do. This all occurred over a year ago (late October/early November 2008). I *still* have no idea if they actually saved the files -- the hard drive they used didn't not come with instructions for retrieving files. Before this occurred, I had considered buying a laptop for myself from this company. As a result of this experience, I have not used their services again, and do not plan to recommend them to others.

The technician who assisted me gave me $50 for the old laptop. The power connection had become disconnected and the labor to fix it would have been $180. The cost of a new-off-lease Dell was around $435. The technician researched which of the for-sale laptops had the most remaining days on its warranty. This was very helpful. The technician hooked up the laptop to the WIFI connection and let me work on the machine to judge its speed, hard-drive performance, etc.

Pretty well, my son installed a graphics card that overloaded the Dell's motherboard; B E Tek replaced it with a used Dell motherboard; however, they did not upgrade the software required to make the computer operate properly. It took us several calls to Dell support to realize that the software did not match the new hardware B E Tek had installed. It took an inordinate amount of time to get Dell's assessment and then return to B E Tek which did not even perform the software upgrade itself (my son went home to the Microsoft web site to fix it himself).
