I called several times and each time they all just brushed it off or tried to pass the buck and Saudi they couldn't do a thing to help. I know better...
Finally, after reaching their headquarters in Memphis I believe they refereed me to a lady who runs things in Missouri from the 913 area code and she contacted the local store manager. After 3 more attempts at getting the correct part, AutoZone did finally reimburse me the cost of the first paint work and the part. Therefore, I have to give credit where it is due. However, the inconvenience of all this was unbelievable. But, they did make good for the entire cost to me except for time going back and forth, gas, etc, not to mention the grief.
Finally got the right part, got it painted and installed.
