I feel I didn't need a new ice maker. He said the motor was burned out. He never showed it to me. He just said he tested it. The ice maker that he installed does not work. He is very rude and unprofessional. He is not honest because he has not come back to fix the problem. I feel he is a thief for coming in and taking my money and not coming back to fix the ice machine. The public should not use him.

Larry Foster did a good job of repairing our dishwasher. First, he returned our call when the first company we contacted never did. On the day of the appointment, he texted his approximate arrival time within 30 minutes. He arrived on time with everything necessary for the repair. Larry was polite, friendly, and professional. He recommended a dishwasher detergent that doesn't clog filters as Cascade does, which we had been using.

Larry was very helpful and jumped through hoops to fill in for our initial contractor who backed out of the work due to an emergency. He kept us from having to drag our remodel timeline out another week or more. His work has proved proficient and we are happy with it. The work itself, however, did take him considerably longer than he initially proposed, he didn't have all the tools necessary, and he spent a large portion of his work time talking about previous jobs he had held in other fields. The constant chatter slowed him down, I think, and irritated other contractor we had on the job at the time. In the end, though, his price was very fair and he didn't charge us for the extra time the project took. I would recommend him to others who don't have a tight timeline.

We have had problems maintaining a constant temperature in our double-sided Danby wine and bar refrigerator. Both sides ideally should run independently of each other. This never seemed to work exactly right. Finally we lost temperature on both sides. We called serveral appliance repair companies and none of them would service the Danby brand. We were then referred to Larry Foster of Amazing Appliance by someone in the appliance repair business. Larry diagnosed the problem as a leak in the cooling system which he sealed and refilled with coolant. Everything went back to normal and both sides are now cool and operating independently of each other as they should. Larry was prompt and efficient, came out within two days of being called. He would have come out sooner but for a glitch in scheduling.
