It's about $150 quarterly.  They have good quality work. The workers are very nice and professional. Nothing they need to work on.

It went fine. We've been very happy with them. It has been at least two or three years. We haven't had any problems with the alarm system. They're kind of high on pricing.

It is not compatible with AT&T Uverse phone line apparently. If I want to keep it, I have to jump up to the cell tower system and they want me to pay for that. I do not want to right now. Their price is a little high.

*ADT misrepresented the product they sold us. This was caught immediately after installation. They will not return calls or do anything to rectify this situation. We have a useless system that does not serve our needs. They continue to charge us but will not address the blatant lies their representative told or the ineffectual quality of the their systemWe are an HVAC/Plumbing company that had had issues with break in on our parking lot and outside storage areas that we were hoping to curtail. In late November we had an ADT representative out to our business to review our options for security system.
The representative, Ginny, came out and reviewed our needs. We were offered a security system that would have top of the line quality cameras, including night vision. We told that this security system would include outdoor flood lights, a motion sensor that would sound an alarm if anyone stepped on the lot, and alerts that would come to us in the event that anyone broke onto the lot. We also purchsed an indoor pulse security system, which we purchased even though we have never had any issues with the interior of the building.
The day after we signed the contract Ginny notified us that the alarm actually wasn't something they could do for the outside units. We agreed with this concession as we had already signed the contract. They installed the system a week later. During the installation we discovered that no flood lights came with this system.
3 days after the installation, on 11/29, our lot was broken into in brood daylight. It was discovered that there was in fact no motion sensor on the cameras and that they had no way of alerting us to this break in. The thief was standing 5 feet away from the camera. From the video photoage you would not make out his skin color or any details. The police stated the cameras were useless and inadmissible as any sort of evidence.
We got in touch with our sales reps supervisor, Norbert , at ADT. He wanted to make the situation right and stated that he would be handling this case personally. That was on December 1st.  He said he would get back in touch with us the following day. He did not.  After that we called him twice a day every day until December 10th when he finally answered.
He offered to install a new security system for about $1500. We declined as we had already dropped $1600 into this system and to start from scratch and just pay that amount again is not right. The current system in place is of no use to us.
We have spoken with several representatives since then but not one has called back after the initial phone call. Norbert will not answer phone calls from our company,We are stuck paying for a system that does us no benefit and a company that will not look into the situation.

Don't expect much from ADT in Kansas City because it's not going to happen.  They don't return phone calls.  If I had known what I do now about ADT systems in the Kansas City area and still wanted ADT security systems, I would go through an ADT dealer and not rely on ADT Corporate.

I have been customor with them since 2005. They are fine if everything is fine and you don't have to call customer service. Most of the time it's very unpleasant to talk with them.
When I called them in November 2012, they offered me 3 months free credit .
Today January 25th, I called customer service to cancel the service. Because I felt like I don't want the system anymore from ADT, don't want to deal with ADT customer service anymore, also looking for another company possibly. But they told me that if I cancel today I have to pay all the credit they have given me , so I owe them more than $200 if I cancel now. The word "credit" means free gift but they used the phrase "we paid your bill."
They told me that there is no point for me to cancel and pay this much money. When I was offered credit at the first point in November they never gave me this information at the first point, what happen when I cancel service while credit is still valid, etc.
I told them that they should give people enough information so that people can make right decision, (if I knew I may say No thanks to their offer ). But they disagreed with it.
Plus I recently found out that there is $100 credit which they offered this by mail, I never said Yes to this and this credit even doesn't start until begining of March. So for me to wait cancelation until all credit are done, I have to wait till mid May.
So basically if I cancelled right now, I have to pay all $ amount eaqual to all credit they have given me or offered me.
Addition to that none of the reason you give them to cancel the service are not enough for them. They just push you very hard for you to stay.
ADT customer service do not give you detail information before hand. Nobody want to get information after things happen and it's too late.  We all want to have as much as information before we make decision or commitment.
At this point I feel stuck with them, feel traped and don't know when I can get out from this endless loop. Maybe I should just pay penalty and get out from them? but it's a lot of money to pay.
It's very rare for me to get emotional and agitate talking to people but it's very hard for me to talk nomaly to ADT custmer service.

I will complete a 2 year contract in a few months after moving in and using previous owner's system non-ADT equipment.  Customer service is a major issue with me. When called on a previous problem several months ago to reset the system due to an electrical storm the technician on the phone said I would need to have a service man come out ($$$) even though I had purchased insurance with them for equipment issues. I called back an hour later to complain and got a different tech who walk me through on the phone how to fix it myself (total opposite of previous call). A second problem occurred a couple of months later with the fire alarm going off (false alarm). The tech on the phone when called said I didn't have fire coverage and could remove the faulty fire alarm. When I got a replacement and removed it, our ADT system alarm went off alerting us the fire alarm was inoperable. I called back immediately and another phone tech said it was connected and to replace it back and they would send a tech 5 days later (earliest slot) on 9/27 to fix it at no charge due to my insurance with them. The tech came out and couldn't identify the cause but did replace the expensive batteries.
The tech at the house admitted that ADT customer service on the phone was a "roll of the dice" if you got a competent phone tech or not. My phone support complaint was very common per the tech.
I plan to look into other security companies and check out their customer service reviews. The bottom line is what value is an alarm company, such as ADT, is if the persons you trust to monitor your home are not all completely competent. Therefore on service alone I cannot recommend ADT for persons want more than a "roll of the dice" coverage.

I was not really pleased with their services because we tried to upgrade the alarm system but they were charging us 400$ for something that they are actually giving for free to their new costumers and I do not think that is fair. For the time being, I will consider them until better company comes along,

Since I did not have any problem with them,  it is hard to judge but all I know is that, it is still there everyday when I leave home.  I had talked with them about using their service here next week to have a motion sensor device but I am not too thrilled about their price on that.

It is okay except that I didn't ever have my alarm go off. They don't routinely check the alarms if it is still working. If you call and say you have a problem then they take care of it but they don't come out to see if it's actually working. I had a little bit of problem at first because I have the control panel in my bedroom and it talks to you if the door opens and it lost its voice so I called and they came out and had to replace something so they said that would be $150 or something like that. They said if I had maintenance agreement, that would be covered. So I said I wish the guy that told me the system had told me about that. So I paid that and signed up for the maintenance agreement and then when my next statement came, there wasn't any charge for the maintenance agreement, so I called and found out that I had in fact, had the maintenance agreement all along and it was just that the service department and the billing department had two separate computer systems and they didn't always swap information back and forth. So I called them to have my money back, which they eventually pay back. That left a bad taste in my mouth. I have no reason outside of that one screw up on the maintenance agreement. When you complain about it, they were very responsive to get out here.

We used them before we moved three months ago, and had a wonderful system in our house. We had glass-break sensors, remote control arming and disarming of the keypad, and a very sophisticated key pad system. When we moved here they just reactivated the old system that was already here in the house, and we lost everything. They didn't seem to care about the downgrade. They made us sign another two year contract. So we are under contract with the downgraded system equipment. Customer service is F. I would absolutely not use this provider again.

The man who came out was an ex-police officer and he was able to inform us about a lot of things that are out there, but that his company does not sell. I like that even though he knew he could not make the sale on it, he took the time to tell us just to make us safer. I would use them again in the future.

The sales process and selection of installation date went smoothly. Installation was a VERY long process - over 12 hours. Single person, seemed to be very knowledgable, and efficient, but the project was reasonably large and it needed more than one installer. He stayed until work done, tested and demonstrated the system, so no issue with his dedication or skills.

I called the company on a Wednesday and was directed to a national number where I received prompt and expert attention. All my questions were answered and the local company came out one day later and installed the system as discussed. The service was friendly, prompt and to my great satisfaction.

The project went very smoothly, considering the system had had the wires disconnected and had to be rewired. Vic from Brinks arrived promptly and was very professional, answering any and all questions I had about the alarm features, pricing, etc. without rushing. Price given reflects 1 year of advance paid monitoring.

I was told the job should take about 4 hours, however it took my installer 9 1/2 hours to complete. He arrived at 9:00 am and left at 6:45 pm. He took an enormous amount of time trying to figure out the best places to install the wiring; I thought he was being very conscientious, but now I think this may have been one of his first jobs. He finally called another installer to come program the system because he was so far behind. At one point, they couldn't get 2 of my phone extensions to work because he forgot to replace a couple wires. He admitted he was having a hard day and was obviously very flustered, so when it came time to show me how to use the system, I got about 15 minutes of instruction. I'll have to call the company to have someone go over a list of questions I have because he didn't have time. And finally, the next morning I got a call from the installer saying he lost my check.

THE MAN WHO INSTALLED OUR SYSTEM WAS GREAT. BEFORE STARTING, HE DID A WALK-THROUGH AND MADE SUGGESTIONS ABOUT WHERE TO PLACE SENSORS FOR THE BEST SECURITY. HE EXPLAINED ALL OF HIS WORK AND WAS CAREFUL OF OUR NEWLY REFINISHED FLOORS.
