The old roof was torn off and the new decking and new roof and skylight were installed by noon on the second day. I'm very pleased with the new roof and the price.

We were very impressed with the young man who quoted the job. They were not the highest or the lowest bidder but seemed to be the most trustworthy and had good reviews. They did everything they said they would do when they said they would do it. We especially appreciated the way in which they cleaned up as they worked and left the area immaculate. The roof has performed beautifully.

Out of the seven estimates we were given, by seven different companies, Jared with Acord was our top pick. Jared is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, polite and trustworthy. We have been overwhelmed with the ease of hiring Jared at Acord to replace our roof. Jared's estimate was accurate to the penny. We changed our minds about the date we wanted the job done, and he had no problem with it. I did not have enough time to order a new skylight, Jared quoted us a cost, brought the skylight to the job, and installed it for us. The sky light is top of the line and wonderful. Jared's crew completed the job in one day. They worked diligently and their clean-up was impeccable! The only tiny glitch was that the roofers neglected to add one vent that we requested. Jared realized this the following day when he came out to inspect the job. He promised the addtional vent would be installed by the end of the week, and it was. We are very pleased with the new roof! Overall we were amazed that they completed the whole job in less than twelve hours! All the old roofing material was put in a dumpster. The workers were professional and left the yard tidy. The dumpster was still in our driveway at 4:00 pm but it was completely covered and secured. Neat as a pin. One worker came back at 10:00 pm and hooked the dumpster up to the truck and drove it away that same night. My husband and I were both very happy with the whole process!!

In a timely manner, Jared Courson, "Acord Roofing Company," presented me with a detailed and accurate estimate for reroofing my house and detached garage. Jared's affable personality, patient attitude, and thorough knowledge of the roofing and building trades, greatly eased my seemingly-daunting mission. (During the four years my husband has been overseas, I have unavoidably dealt with numerous companies in various capacities, on my own. In particular, a protracted costly debacle, with a supposedly reputable HVAC company, rendered me distrustful of future sizable business dealings and if I would be treated with honesty and respect, as a "single" woman). Through contact with Jared Courson, my apprehension rapidly dissipated and I quickly discerned "Acord Roofing Company's" unpretentious, honest, and fair treatment of me, as a lone woman. Initially, for this reason, "Acord," and Jared Courson, gained my high respect and appreciation. "Acord's" roofers amazed me, as they worked extremely hard twelve + hour days, for four consecutive days, and three hours the final day. The roofers remained pleasant, during the intense heat of the first two days, through the rain on the last day. Their constant cheerfulness and intense work ethic greatly impressed me. The result of their diligent labor looks beautiful! Excellent experience. I was referred to Acord by a contractor and also saw they had great rating on Angie's List. I submitted a request for an estimate on their website and was surprised to be contacted the next morning. Jared came out within the hour and did a full roof inspection. He took pictures while on the roof and explained the problems as well as what it would cost. When I agreed to have him do the repairs he was able to do it right away! I was very happy as it was scheduled to rain the next day. It did rain and I have not noticed any leaking since. I am very happy with the whole experience and would definitely recommend Acord for any roofing repair.

The crew showed up in the morning and had the entire roof completed before 6 PM. The roof looks great. The workmanship is outstanding. They did much more than other area companies promised in their estimates but at a lower cost. The crew left no mess at all, every piece of paper, every nail was picked up before they left. You would have never know they were there. They ran a magnet over the entire yard to make sure they got all the nails. Our only disappointment was that we felt that we had to initiate the communication, asking when stuff was going to be delivered, when the work was going to begin, letting them know things weren't delivered, etc. That may just have been because this was the first time we had any roofing work done and didn't know the process. It certainly didn't take away from the roof work or keep us from recommending them to others.

We were so satisfied with the new roof that Acord had installed that we had them remove our old gutters and downspouts and replace them with gutters, downspouts and gutter toppers. The color match is perfect and the new stuff is great!.

They were very good. They came when promised and completed the work in a timely fashion. Brian, the owner, came back to inspect the work performed.

Work was done efficiently and neatly on both projects. Workers were professional and very neat. We detected a small leak around one of the skylights. Accord was out the next day to fix the problem. We have no problems since. We would recommend Accord without hesitation to anyone looking for a roofing company.

I called four roofing companies on Monday night and heard back from Acord first thing Tuesday morning. Brian gave me a very fair estimate, had a variety of shingles for me to choose from, and was able to start a crew the very next day. My existing roof had two layers so it was a full tear-off and replace. I also had several boards that needed replacement because they were worn or damaged (41-year-old house). He did this at a very reasonable and pre-discussed price. The customer service was excellent. Brian came out in the morning to direct the crew, and walked the roof at the end of the day to make sure it was perfect. They also cleaned the yard of all debris. The roof looks wonderful. I couldn't be happier, and I would definitely recommend Acord if you need a new roof.

I had hail damage to my roof to such an extent that I could replace my roof via an insurance claim. I called several companies for estimates and settled on Acord Roofing. I called Acord because of the good reviews I had read about them on Angies List. Jared Courson came out within a few days of me calling for an estimate. He was very curteous, professional and knowledgeable. He gave me an estimate which was a very good price compared to the other estimates I had received. Very importantly, he never asked me if I had an insurance claim, he just bid the job. And also, never asked for any money up front. Jared even gave me some addresses where they had put on roofs so I could check out the colors as I was not sure which color of shingles that I was going to go with. I did check these houses out and even talked with one homeowner who highly recommended them I hired them and went to their office to sign a contract within a few days. We set up the day they would do the job, barring any rain, and they came on that day and finished the job in one day( April 17, 2012) I came home from work in the afternoon and the crew was hard at work. I left home for an appointment and came back home around 7:30 pm and they were finished and gone. Everything was diligently picked up, a magnet was used to find any stray nails in the yard and on the driveway. Not one plant or bush was disturbed, they even removed my deck table and chairs earlier in the day and put everything back as they found it. I had a minor issue with the screen covering on my gutter bent up at one corner of my guttering. Jared came out that day, was up on my roof and simply bent the leaf screen back in place. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They did a fantastic job. The crew was very hard working and just were terrific. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ACORD ROOFING. On a secondary note, I also had them replace 6 vent grill covers on my soffit for an extremely reasonable price. They did a great job and I highly recommend them and would certainly hire them back for any roofing need I might have. I felt they were completely honest in all their dealings with me. And again, I was quite impressed that no one ever asked me once, if I had had an insurance claim on my roof or not.

The job went well... showed up on monday morning and ripped off the roof. Had the roof and clean-up completed by Wednesday.

We needed a new roof and got the name of Acord from a coworker who had used them and been pleased with the results. We called around the first of February and scheduled an estimate. Jarod came out on February 10th and gave us proposals in three price ranges, and explained the differences. He also gave us a list of addresses in our area with the various shingles that we had chosen, so we could hopefully narrow the field. Within a few days he brought out actual samples, but the one we were most interested in had not been sent to Acord with the others in its class, as it was a brand new shingle just being offered. We were reluctant to choose it since we had not seen it, so we decided on our second choice. Within a couple days Jarod located the first choice sample and brought it to us; we liked it, and we ordered it. Several days went by; then Jarod called and said the manufacturer could not ship our new shingle because it was a less than truckload amount, and not enough homeowners in the area had yet to request it since it was brand new. We told him to go ahead with our second choice, so he made another trip to our house with the newest estimate for that sample. A few hours later he called back and said the manufacturer had agreed to ship the first choice rather than lose the roof to a competitor's shingle. It was great the way Jarod kept us informed of the progress of our order, as well as the several trips he made to our house with samples and paperwork. We got the exact shingle we wanted at a very fair price, thanks to Jarod's persistence with the manufacturer. As soon as the weather was right, the crew came to the house the first week of March. The entire roof was done in less than eight hours with no signs that the workers had even been there. We now have the best looking roof in the neighborhood. Thank you, Acord Roofing!

We are so glad we chose Acord to re-roof our house. From start to finish everything went as promised. Jared Courson was so professional, and so easy to deal with. He knows his product, and he insisted the installation crew was trained and that they did the job right. There is no shortage of roofing companies in the KC area -- some of which come with horror stories -- but we are so thankful we avoided those. We can recommend Acord Roofing without hesitation.

One of the best things we can say about this company is that they did what they said they were going to do, when they said they would do it. That's very important to us. It actually went better than I thought. I had our old roof torn off and a GAF Timberline Armor Shield II Class 4 Impact resistent shingles put on with a GAF tigerpaw underlayment also installed. From a womans point of view all I could think of was my plants, bushes and flowers getting all messed up, stepped on and trash all around. But this was totally not the case. They were very considerate and kept things clean. The roof looks amazing and have had NOT one single issue and yes it has rained and stormed since. When we built this house and the roofers that put this first roof on were horrible! We had leaks everywhere. So this was a concern of mine with getting a new roof. As we sit up on a hill with not many tree's around on acreage, available to all kinds of weather. Brian is whom my husband dealt with. He was very fair price wise as my husband did his homework checking out all kinds of roofers. I would recommend him again.

I am totally satisfied with everything. The only issue I had was that it wasn't explained to me, ahead of time, the amount of debris that would be left in the attic from tearing off the old roof. I have been spending a lot of time in the attic with a shop-vac and a broom. I understand we had an older style roof that would create a mess, but I didn't like that they didn't warn me. Other than that, the owner, and the company, were very responsive.

We got other estimates and Acord was the best with their warranties and services.

Working with Acord Roofing was downright refreshing compared to most contractors. The owner, Brian, communicated with us frequently and called us back each and every time we contacted them or left a message. The roofing was delivered one day, and the work began the next day. A large crew came over and they worked fast. They kept a good eye on the weather and did as much as they could, then let me know when they would be back, and they returned when they said they would. Meanwhile it rained like crazy, but we had not leaks since they were prepared. Brian oversaw the crew each morning and gave them instructions on how to handle difficult areas on the roof. The crew was very professional. They were careful about where shingles went when they came off the roof, and they cleaned up every day. I had to pull my car out of the garage while they were working, and one of the crew stopped me while he cleaned up the driveway and used a magnet to pick up any nails before I pulled out. They fixed several problem areas in the roof, such as where the roof intersected with a metal porch roof, and some other issues from when the first roof was put on, so things ended up better then they were before. When the job was done, Brian came back for an inspection with us. Overall, the experience was great; no negative comments at all. I would recommend them to anyone. They did what they said they would, when they said they would it, installed what they said they would, charged the price they had quoted, and did it all without any hassles. Not sure what more you could ask for.

Brian Acord is the owner. It took them about two days to come out and give us an estimate as well as start the work. The crew that came out was courteous, and the workmanship was fine.

The Acord crew showed up on the day Brian scheduled early in the morning and began work. These guys have it under control as they limit the mess in the yard and fully cleaned up when they were completed. The roof and metal valleys looked great in the exact color we selected. They protected (covered) the plants around the house prior to working. We recommended Acord to our neighbors and found five other homes on our circle used them for their roof replacements. We plan on calling Acord/Brian again for any roofing work we may need.
