I was very pleased with them. I understand plumbers are expensive but I thought their plrice was fair.
Description of Work: They came to fix our sprinkler then came back later to fix something for free.

These people were sent to me by Old Republic Home Protection. I was experiencing back-ups in the basement from the main drain and the sump pump. They sent out a guy who said that it looked like the main sewer line was broken but he wanted to use a camera to see it for sure. Old Republic wouldn't pay for the camera so I agreed to pay for it. The next day he came back with the camera and said the main sewer ran out the front of the house to the street. Old Republic does not cover anything outside of the foundation so I told them to go ahead and fix it. It had to get fixed and at that time I didn't realize the incompetence I was dealing with. He came back the next day with a Bobcat and digs up the front of my house, including removing a mature Magnolia tree. And finds out that the sewer DOES NOT run out the front of the house, but runs out the back. Then he decided that the break in the pipe was under the patio in the back yard and he was going to save me a lot of money by not destroying the patio. So he proceeded to re-route all of the sewer drain lines in the basement and suspended about 40 feet of PVC pipe from the beams in the basement. He jack-hammered the concrete basement floor from the main drain to the sump pump and drilled a hole in the foundation wall. This also meant, of course, that he had to dig up half of the back yard as well as the side yard. He destroyed my chain link fence with the gate in it and did NOT call Dig-Rite when he dug up the back yard. I started asking for license numbers and last names and he became argumentative and kept interrupting me. Finally I told them to leave. A licensed plumber I hired to look at this guy's work said it was ridiculous and "Mickey Mouse" and told me that I would never be able to sell my home like that, with all that suspended PVC in the basement, and that it had actually lowered the value of my home. And as it turns out, the break was not even under the patio at all, but at the outside edge of it, so all the digging and destroying he did was totally unnecessary. I have spent about $2000 so far fixing this mess and I have not yet fixed the fence, or had my front, side or back yards graded and seeded. I expect it will cost a good deal more to fix all the damage these guys have done to my home. FYI, their truck also said AB Electric on it.
